The President and his campaign jumped on the news of a .3% one month drop in the “unemployment rate” kept by the Labor Department. They should have. But economists and critical observers greeted the number with disbelief. They may be right. This may be another scandal. But let’s, like my friends at Americans For Prosperity and Governor Romney, proceed, with character, as though the government figures are accurate.
