Hyperbole? Perhaps, But Then Again . . .
Look at the headlines for the last couple days:

- Feb 16, 2011: Obama Regime Rebuke of Israel CBS reporter
CBS reporter: You likely know Lara Logan, CBS News’ chief foreign affairs correspondent, was beaten and raped in Cairo last Friday. Oh, you hadn’t heard “raped?” Right, she was merely “assaulted.” That is one of the reasons we’re writing about it here. The dirty story, before it was cleaned up to “assault,” is she was severely beaten and repeatedly raped. Reason number two is, gee, I thought that crowd in the Cairo streets were only freedom seeking people celebrating the demise of their oppressor. At least 140 correspondents were injured or killed by the freedom loving gangs. Let’s declare that fairy tale permanently buried. And finally, did you notice CBS didn’t report the story? After others reported it, CBS released their terse statement, “assault.” Pitiful but no surprise. Like all mainstream media, for CBS, the story line trumps the facts even when their own people are attacked.
Islamist judge: Egypt’s military rulers have appointed an Islamist judge to chair the committee to write a new Egyptian constitution. Wael Abbas, the best-known human rights blogger in Egypt, who was sentenced to prison by the Mubarak regime last year, said it was a “worrying” choice. “There is no such thing as a moderate Islamist,” he said. “We want a secular state that respects all religions and which belongs to all religions.”
My instincts have been right on target from the beginning in the disintegration of Egypt. You have to think the Obama Regime wanted Egypt to fall under Islamic rule. Many of us were certain Egypt would be headed for Islamic rule. No one could guess it would move this fast.
Iran warships to Suez Canal: The word, as I write, is that the ships have not entered the canal and Egyptian authorities say they are not scheduled through Friday. They are clearly testing Obama. If he is as weak as the Iranians (and I) think, they’ll learn it in the next days and head on through to the Mediterranean and at the coast of Israel.
Demonstrations In Iran: They have been demonstrating for a week. They have been tear gassed, they have been arrested and at least eight have been killed. These partiots are the real deal. My view is the ruling Mullahs and the regime in Teheran will put them down brutally and no one will come to their side. Expect Obama to continue voice support for these freedom fighters. The Iranians understand this American President can be counted on to, in this case, speak loudly and carry no stick at all. There are dozens of ways America could lend material support to these Iranian fighters; Obama will not.
Obama Regime Rebuke of Israel: Sad, outrageous, disgusting and more is the least we can say as the Obama Regime notified Arab countries and the United Nations we will not back Israel in the Security Council. The U.S. will support a Security Council Resolution condemning Israel for “settlement activity.” The action continues a consistent record by this regime of undercutting America’s friends —especially Israel. I’d say the Armageddon pot is very close to the boiling point but, you decide.
