The United States should be leading the world in promoting and establishing economic freedom. In fact, we are sliding down the ranks of countries!

For 17 years, The Heritage Foundation and the Wall Street Journal have published an Index of Economic Freedom with World Rankings of the countries.

The 2011 Index has Hong Kong and Singapore one and two and North Korea dead last as usual. The United States of America is in 9^th place but our score is down again.
