The Obama administration has stopped construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline in a section that includes mostly Nebraska. This map shows the uncompleted section the Obama environmental police is holding up because of “concerns” about the risk of groundwater contamination and other pollution. It runs through Saskatchewan, Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska. Obama recently approved the construction of the section from Cushing Oklahoma to Houston. As you can see, another earlier part of the same project carries oil safely from Hardisty, Alberta all the way to Patoka, IL.
