Someone named Matthew Schmitz, who seems to be one preferring “the common good” to Liberty and, writing in First things, has unfortunately and stupidly declared, “the anti-sharia movement in this country…endangers our national security by alienating loyal Muslim citizens and assaults religious liberty.” (H/T Atlas) First Things is an “ecumenical inter-denominational and inter-religious journal” focused on “creating a religiously informed public philosophy for the ordering of society.” In my own view, they are (unfortunately) the leading and most influential journal of their kind.

We desperately need every State to follow the Kansas lead quickly and we need, as quickly as possible, to add new Supreme Court Justices who understand the clear danger that Shariah law sneaking into this country means the end of our God given Liberty.
