As we enter this fourth week in Advent in this first year of our present darkness, let us meditate on the Words of the Lord to the children of Israel, through the prophet Jeremiah (29:11), when they were removed to Babylon; “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” saith the Lord,” thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Surely we can find direction and comfort in those words as we grieve for the families of those who died in Connecticut Friday.

Many, like me, already have the fulfillment of that promise. Another is 10 year old singing sensation, Rhema Marvanne.
