NEW JERSEY GOVERNOR CHRISTIE TALKED NEW JERSEY SUCCESSFULLY TO MIDDLE AMERICA AT THE IOWA FREEDOM SUMMIT

Several speakers (potential candidates) established powerful credentials. Keep in mind six other potential top tier candidates were not at the Summit. We’ll make your look at seven of those at the Summit easy and publish them here.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie was good on the platform and knows how to talk New Jersey to Iowans and, by extension, to all Middle Americans like me.

Chris Christie.2

“I’ve been in 37 different states in the last year and I’ve learned a lot about America and I’d like to share a little about what I’ve learned. There’s one emotion that I’ve seen more than any other. … The media will try to say it is anger. It is not. It is anxiety,” Governor Christie declared.

On why he’s blunt, “I had an Irish father and a Sicilian mother. And I got real good early on conflict resolution.”

Governor Christie is clearly a fun guy to be around. You will delight in his speech as much as the Freedom Summit crowd. But Governor Christie left big questions unanswered. This election must be about restoring Constitutional government and the largest existential worldwide threat in history: worldwide Islamic jihad.

Moving towards a Constitutional country requires a much smaller less powerful less intrusive government at every level. Governor Christie demonstrated as recently as Sunday—the day after this speech he gave in Iowa a week ago—an instinct to impose rules on citizens; for their own good of course. A “storm of the century” was headed for the Newark NJ area. Like New York, the State of New Jersey did an excellent of warning citizens of an impending blizzard. But, like the governor of New York, Governor Christie ordered people to go home and stay there. Of course the storm missed Newark and the greater New York City area demonstrating Governor Christie’s overreach. But, if the storm had hit Newark, his order would have still been out of line to a free people.

Governor has demonstrated so far that he has no understanding of Islam and its jihad to conquer the world. It is unacceptable for America to elect a president who doesn’t know this and who is not ready to lead America to win this war.

See if you think Governor Christie can communicate with Midwesterners:
