President Obama chose Diego Arancibia to represent Latino Muslims at his “American Muslim Leaders Conference” at the White House February 4th—the White House 14. According to KPBS in San Diego, “Islam is the fastest growing religion in the U.S., with domestic conversion fueling that growth. California Latinos make up the bulk of the domestic conversions.” Interesting, interesting, interesting.
According to Mr. Arancibia (Chilean), Malcolm X did the trick. “The Autobiography of Malcolm X,”… was the one book that I didn’t want to put down. I said I wanted to be like this individual in the sense that someone who completely transform themselves and was able to make this huge impact on society.” [sic]
What have we learned here?
- Islam is the fastest growing religion in America.
- Conversion of American Christians to Islam “fuels” that growth.
- The bulk of domestic conversions are California Latinos.
- The President wants to support this conversion from Christianity to Islam as a National good.
