We the People – A force to turn the Democrats out and turn the Republicans inside out! Showing up for the hard work and to restore America —to the glory God!
President Obama and the top several levels of officials in the regime know nothing about anything that has gone on these past 53 months:
The Fast and Furious gunrunning program broke into the open more than a year ago. According to the White House and Justice Department no one there knew anything.
Three months later terrorists attacked the U.S. compound in Benghazi. According to the White House, The State Department, Defense Department and CIA, no one there knew anything except that peaceful people reacted to a hateful You Tube video.
Less than a month later the foreign ties/foreign money scandal broke. The White House and Obama campaign ignored it (and got away with it).
Five weeks ago we learned the DOJ had been wiretapping The Associated Press (twenty lines for two months) and Fox News Washington Bureau Chief, James Rosen (and his parents; going back to 2010). Neither the White House nor the Justice Department knew anything.
Six weeks ago, the IRS leaked the essence of abuse that was about to come out in a Treasury Dept. IG report. No one at the White House, at least no one in charge, knew anything. The President declared he gets his news in the media like the rest of us.
Now we get the news that the NSA (in the name of keeping us safe) is gathering electronic data on all of us. Every single citizen who treasures the Constitution including its Fourth Amendment is outraged. James Clapper, the Director of National Intelligence knows nothing. (When he did answer a question, he clearly was lying.)
These scandals have taken their toll. Polls show nearly 80% of Americans mistrust the Federal Government. Now the NSA revelations could drive a nail in the “all seeing, all knowing, all powerful Big Government.” What about the President? Is he as clueless as usual? Hardly. He sprang into action—leaping tall buildings in a single bound.
For context, in 2007 Candidate Obama declared in a speech before voting against NSA reauthorization, “This [Bush] administration also puts forward a false choice between the liberties we cherish and the security we provide. I will provide our intelligence and law enforcement agencies with the tools they need to track and take out the terrorists without undermining our Constitution and our freedom.”
Now six years later President forked-tongue said Americans did have to make tough choices in the name of safety. “You can’t have 100 per cent security and also then have 100 per cent privacy and zero inconvenience,”
Moreover, he recently lied to us all, “I came in with a healthy skepticism about these programs. My team evaluated them. We scrubbed them thoroughly. We actually expanded some of the oversight, increased some of the safeguards.”
In an interview with PBS’s Charlie Rose Monday night, Obama defended the spying program, telling Rose that the NSA tapping system “is transparent.” (Is Rose the only one who bought that one?) He sold the system in place to implement its use, noting:
“My concern has always been not that we shouldn’t do intelligence gathering to prevent terrorism, but rather are we setting up a system of checks and balances? The bottom line: The U.S. isn’t eavesdropping on your calls. What I can say unequivocally is that if you are a U.S. person, the NSA cannot listen to your telephone calls, and the NSA cannot target your emails … and have not. . .
“But I think it’s fair to say that there’re going to be folks on the left [criticizing me]. And what amuses me is now folks on the right who are fine when there’s a Republican president, but now, Obama’s coming in with the black helicopters.
“Some people say, ‘Well, you know, Obama was this raving liberal before. Now he’s, you know, Dick Cheney.’ Dick Cheney sometimes says, ‘Yeah, you know? He took [the Bush-Cheney approach] all lock, stock and barrel.’ My concern has always been not that we shouldn’t do intelligence gathering to prevent terrorism, but rather are we setting up a system of checks and balances.”
“You’ll hear is people say, ‘Okay, we have no evidence that it has been abused so far.’ And they say, ‘Let’s even grant that Obama’s not abusing it, that all these processes — DOJ is examining it. It’s being renewed periodically, et cetera — the very fact that there is all this data in bulk, it has the enormous potential for abuse,’ because they’ll say, you know, ‘You can — when you start looking at metadata, even if you don’t know the names, you can match it up, if there’s a call to an oncologist, and there’s a call to a lawyer, and — you can pair that up and figure out maybe this person’s dying, and they’re writing their will, and you can yield all this information.’ All of that is true. Except for the fact that for the government, under the program right now, to do that, it would be illegal. We would not be allowed to do that.”
Mindboggling! “Except for the fact that for the government, under the program right now, to do that, it would be illegal. We would not be allowed to do that.” Mindboggling! We are all in the “metadata abyss” and Mr. Hagmann’s DHS contact is right, “If anyone thinks that what’s going on right now with all of this surveillance of American citizens is to fight some sort of foreign enemy, they’re delusional.”You and I better get to work and we better put ourselves in those hands Sarah Palin urged—GOD’s.
Sarah Palin closed the Faith and Freedom Conference Saturday afternoon in Washington with a compelling assessment of where we stand and what we need to do. She warned GOP political leaders to not marginalize and dismiss ordinary American citizens (as they are doing). She declared that We the People have to restore freedom because the political leaders don’t and won’t do it. We shall; we must; we will fundamentally restore America, she concluded.
While I can’t imagine Palin will be the Republican Presidential nominee, she will be a formidable force molding the debate and nudging candidates in and up or out. Republican early hopefuls who will find the force is a headwind in the path of their candidacy include New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, Former Florida Governor, Jeb Bush and Florida Senator Marco Rubio.
If you are committed to the long pull that is the restoration of America, this speech is essential. Watch it:
Perhaps you hadn’t heard, The White house and President Obama celebrated LGBT Pride month Thursday with “members and allies of the LGBT community.”
Unlike tours of regular school children, there was plenty of money for this. Those mean Republicans did not attack this historic event with their sequester. It was the 5th time this “community” has been together in the White House. The part of “The Community” that got into the shindig included, “national leaders, elected officials, faith leaders, members of the military and veterans community, and local advocates and organizers.” And one more group, homosexuals with children, who had written the President, were select to be there as well. A pair of third graders with “two moms who love us a lot,” were chosen to introduce Obama. Take a look:
The President, apparently unable to find the meaning of love in the words of Jesus or Second Corinthians 13, found it in a letter from two North Dakota lesbians. Among other things, President Obama said,
Love is what I saw in Valerie and Diane’s letter from North Dakota, who’ve been together for 37 years. Their son, Madison, is here, 14. They told me that when Madison was little—he’s not little now, by the way. (Laughter.) He used to say that someday, he was going to become president and make it legal for his moms to get married. And now, they added, “I don’t think we’re going to have to wait that long.” (Applause.)
Madison, I agree with you that it’s time. I agree that you should run for president. (Laughter.) And I agree that we’re not going to have to wait that long—because from Minnesota to Maryland, from the United States Senate to the NBA, it’s clear we’re reaching a turning point. (Applause.) We’ve become not just more accepting; we’ve become more loving, as a country, and as a people. Hearts and minds change with time. Laws do, too. Change like that isn’t something that starts here in Washington, but it’s something that has the power that Washington has a great deal of difficulty resisting over time.
In another important post today we have Rush and Ann Barnhardt commenting on the core thing that is bringing (or has brought) America down. They are both right in the context of their argument but no one can comprehend, let alone calculate, the destruction ahead from accepting homosexuality as a virtue and the definition of love..
Two profoundly different but profoundly deep thinkers have offered valuable thoughts on the core reason America is near its end.
Rush on Fridays show said he thinks “abortion is at the root of so much that has and is going wrong in this country.” Keep in mind that in 40 years Americans have legally murdered 55 million little babies. Here are the key parts of Rush’s argument:
I really think that abortion is at the root—you could do a flowchart—I think abortion is at the root of so much that has and is going wrong in this country. I think that the number of abortions themselves, but what in toto it all means, culturally, in terms of the sanctity of life, how that’s crumbled, I think it’s almost at the root of everything. And if it’s not at the root of everything, it’s clearly had a profound impact on our culture, our society, and our politics, I think in ways that people don’t even stop to consider.
None of it good and it’s caused all kinds of horrible problems that nobody knows how to fix. Because they refuse to even accept that abortion is more than what it is. To most people, it’s just a woman’s right to choose, and it’s nobody’s business, and leave it alone and I don’t want to talk about it. But it’s really had much more impact on this country than just that. It’s had impact on crime. It’s had a profound impact on our politics. It is at the root of our cultural rot and decay.
You can trace the problems with accepting personal responsibility, no consequences for your actions, you can trace so much right back to it. And I’m not talking about the women. I’m talking the overall effect of a society having literally no problem with eliminating 52 million of its citizens. That can’t be good. Much of it is a subliminal subconscious effect, obviously. It’s not something that’s apparent. But it makes all kinds of sense when it’s explained to you, and perhaps someday I will.
Abortion is the sacrament of Liberalism
Nancy Pelosi was in an interview recently with Weekly Standard, and she really, to prove my point here, or to illustrate it, she was asked about Kermit Gosnell, and she doesn’t see anything wrong there. That’s no different than third trimester abortions. And, by the way, that’s it, she wasn’t gonna talk any more about it because she is a devout Catholic. She has six kids, and it isn’t about politics, and she’s not gonna discuss it anymore, she said, because the interviewer was taking it in the direction of politics, and abortion isn’t politics. Abortion is sacred ground, she said. It is the sacrament of liberalism, is what it is.
I don’t know how you can have so much white guilt over slavery 150 years ago and have no guilt over what’s happening with abortion. I really don’t. I think it is the cause of so much that seems to be inexplicable to people. Why are 10-year-olds shooting each other to death in Chicago? Why is our society so permissive, anything goes, the more ribald, the better? The more honorable the more boring it is said to be. It’s just something that’s really obvious. . . .
In a repost of More on Cowardice and Courage 1, Ann Barnhardt led:
If you forced me to distill everything that is wrong with this culture down to one word, to find one word that covered almost every sin in one fell swoop, it would be cowardice. I look at western civilization and I see cowardice EVERYWHERE. It is in the eyes and hearts of every adult. Its stench permeates everything.
Her Web Site doesn’t seem to have archives so I continue with the entire post.
First, the definition. Cowardice is, when you boil it down, total self-absorption. Cowardice is putting your own immediate and superficial desires above everyone and everything else. Cowardice is indifference to your fellow man, and to God, and as we have already established, indifference, not hate, but INDIFFERENCE is the opposite of love.
The coward cowers and fails to act because he puts himself first, thus breaking the two Great Commandments simultaneously: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and soul AND thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. The coward gives both God and his neighbor the proverbial finger, pulls the covers over his head, and retreats into his own lint-filled navel, oftentimes rhetorically hiding behind the words “prudence” and “benignity”.
The word “Prudence” has been twisted by cowards into the lie that one should never act, but rather think and think and think ad infinitum until either they have talked themselves out of any action (which is always very easy to do) OR until someone else comes along and takes up the slack, thus making the question of their own action moot. In other words, STALLING.
Prudence is being able to discern the right, see the big picture and then DO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. Many people think that they can “legally” dodge this by simply doing nothing. Ah, but they forget that to NOT act is to act, to NOT speak is to speak, to quote Bonhoeffer. It is impossible to avoid action, because inaction is itself an action. When prudence truly dictates that something MUST be said or done, inaction then becomes a sin, no matter how one might try to justify that inaction as prudence. That sin is called COWARDICE.
Benignity means “kindness”, which is not the same as “being nice” or even being liked. True kindness sometimes requires sternness, or even ferociousness. Ferocity is defined as “extreme intensity”. If you walked into a kitchen and saw a three year old child just about to drink from a bottle of drain cleaner, would you not ferociously dive at the child yelling, “NO!” in order to save that child from poisoning and burning themselves? Anything less would be unthinkable. How could one react with silent paralysis to a child about to drink poison? How would that be kind? How would that be benign? It wouldn’t. It would be malignant malefaction devoid of prudence and charity, and utterly cowardly.
The other term that gets distorted by cowardice is “meekness”. The tragic coincidence that the word “meek” rhymes with “weak” in English has led many intellectually lazy people to believe very falsely that the words are synonyms. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
Meekness is POWER UNDER CONTROL. Hence, Christ is perfectly meek, because as the Second Person of the Triune Godhead He is infinitely powerful, but yet so under control of His power that He freely chose to be crucified. An absolute monarch, powerful politician, powerful corporate executive, or law enforcement officer is called to meekness: power UNDER CONTROL. Power itself isn’t necessarily bad, as the absence of authority leads to anarchy and chaos. Power without the integrity of self-control is the problem. I think we can all agree that we have a serious, serious meekness deficiency in this culture, borne from cowardice, which recall is total self-absorption. A coward cannot be meek because a coward has no LEGITIMATE power to control in the first place. You hear me, Barack?
The reason we are in this mess, and the reason why I don’t see any indication of anything getting any better is because we are indeed a nation, and a civilization, of cowards. I see exactly ZERO willingness by anyone to offer any meaningful resistance to evil. I see zero willingness for anyone to do anything that might result in the least bit of discomfort, loss or material damage to themselves or their estate.
As an example, over the last couple of days I have been inundated with emails from people who remember the Mass before 1968, and they all say something very similar: When the changes came, we hated them and just KNEW that they were bad, bad news. We also KNEW which priests were gay, it wasn’t like they were trying to fool anyone.
My universal response to that is: WELL, WHY THE HECK DIDN’T YOU DO ANYTHING?
The answer is cowardice. People wanted to maintain their social standing, and so they chose the action of inaction. People wanted to just pull the blanket over their head, not get involved, and be considered “nice”. This is the ultimate self-absorption. If you people KNEW that the Church and the Mass were being profaned and you did NOTHING, then you will be held to account for that cowardice. You will be made to answer for the hundreds of millions, if not billions of human beings who were lost to hell because of the Marxist-homosexualist near-destruction of the Church and the Mass. You will be held to account for the horrific gutter dive that this culture has taken, because if the Novus Ordo Mass had been deep-sixed by the irate demand of the people before it ever got off the ground, this world would be a very, very different place. If the Marxist-homosexualists had never been allowed to rise to power by the silent assent of the cowardly people, God would still be shedding His grace on us, and tens of millions of dead babies would be very much alive today, and countless millions of people might not have been lost to hell.
This is why we, the people, are and will be punished by God – not just the psychopath politicians, banksters, oilgarchs and sodomites. This is why just war theory permits actions that can involve civilian casualties and destruction of non-state property. THE PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR GOVERNMENT. And no one is more responsible for their government, no one is more complicit in the sins of their state than the poeple whose organizational document begins with the words, “We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union ….”
Every time I hear someone say, “Well, I can’t DO THAT. I can’t SAY ANYTHING. I can’t stop paying taxes. I can’t get crossways with the IRS. I can’t cancel my cable. I can’t get on my boss’s bad side. I can’t jeopardize my job. I can’t jeopardize my reputation. I can’t jeopardize my income. I can’t jeopardize my pension. You just don’t understand. I just CAN’T,” I have just one question in response. It is very easy, and only requires a single number is response – not even words. Just one number. The question is, exactly how many human souls are you content to see lost in exchange for your personal comfort and ability to navel-gaze uninterrupted? I need a number. No prose. No bee-ess excuses. Just a number. If you are willing to admit that you are willing to see a billion people lost, then say it. If you’re willing to see 3.5 billion people lost, then say it. If you’re willing to see the entire surface population minus yourself lost, then say it. But don’t bee-ess me by saying “zero” and then cowering in fear and refusing to so much as lift a finger or say ONE WORD in the face of this evil.
Fish or cut bait, people.
I did begin by telling you “profound and Deep” thinking. So go ahead, start fishing.
It is now known that, during the Bush Administration, the National Security agencies created a mountain of information about every American. Obama declared his team “scrubbed” the entire system. Not exactly. Under Obama, the same agencies, on steroids, now have an entire mountain range.
The director of the National Security Agency, Army Gen. Keith Alexander, told a Senate Committee the secret data-surveillance programs had prevented dozens of terrorist attacks in recent years. But in a statement, Senators Wyden and Udall said, “We have not yet seen any evidence showing that the NSA’s dragnet collection of Americans’ phone records has produced any uniquely valuable intelligence.”
If whistleblower Edward Snowden turns out to be a Chinese Communist sympathizer, it makes the NSA look even worse. If they couldn’t spot a ChiCom sympathizer, how can they catch an Islamic Jihadist?
It turns out much of this spying on Americans has already been somewhat public. William (Bill) Binney and J. Kirk Weibe were the lead developers of “ThinThread,” a low development cost ($3 million) program to identify terrorist threats while protecting innocent American’s privacy. NSA, going to outside contractors, commissioned a far more expansive and far more expensive ($4 billion) program, “Trailblazer.” After 911, the NSA unleashed Trailblazer. A month later, Binney (37 years of service) and Weibe (30 years of Service) retired. “Trailblazer” failed to catch terrorists and was replaced in 2006 with “Stellar Wind.” PRISM is apparently much newer.
By 2003, Binney and Weibe were whistleblowers. While their activities have been legal, they faced pressure that most would find terrifying. Binney, for example, had his shower door thrown open with several FBI agents pointing high caliber guns at him; one thrust right in his face.
In a Glenn Beck Radio Interview last week, Binney declared when the Obama administration says it is only collecting bare data, not the content of your phone calls or emails for example, that’s an “outright lie. Their statement about, ‘we don’t have content’ is an outright lie,” he explained, adding that emails, videos and other type of content are also covered under NSA and FBI’s secret “PRISM” program.
Binney went on to say that the spy program could easily be used to target political opposition, just as the IRS targeted conservative groups. “If you wanted to know who was involved in the Tea Party, this kind of activity would lay our their entire structure and everyone who is involved in it, no matter where they are inside the country,” he said. “That information could then be passed to the IRS to target people.” Here is the Beck interview:
Do not forget Doug Hagmann’s DHS insider: “If anyone thinks that what’s going on right now with all of this surveillance of American citizens is to fight some sort of foreign enemy, they’re delusional. If people think that this ‘scandal’ can’t get any worse, it will, hour by hour, day by day.”
This is not a partisan battle. “Power to the Emperor” (government) leftists and most “National Security” Republicans stand with the actions of the NSA without regard to the Constitution. Many old time “Church” liberals such as former Walter Mondale (1984) campaign manager, Bob Beckel and strident secularists such as the ACLU and most conservative and libertarian Americans stand with the Constitution.
This secret government, in the view of many including me, is the most chilling and serious threat to any future for Liberty in America or anywhere. I have deep respect for many who are siding with the “secret government” camp. One is former Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton.
Appearing Monday on “Chicago’s Talk Leader” WLS Ambassador John Bolton took America’s breath away (well, mine anyway). It wasn’t that he declared that NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden is guilty of treason. (While none including Ambassador Bolton can declare Snowden guilty, he might be.) Examine with me Ambassador Bolton’s rant:
“Number one, this man is a liar. He [Edward J. Snowden] took an oath to keep the secrets that were shared with him so he could do his job. He said he would not disclose them, and he lied. Number two, he lied because he thinks he’s smarter and has a higher morality than the rest of us. This guy thinks he has a higher morality, that he can see clearer than other 299-million 999-thousand 999 of us, and therefore he can do what he wants. I say that is the worst form of treason.”
Let us start with “He took an oath to keep the secrets that were shared with him so he could do his job.” Mr. Snowden did, in fact, sign an employment contract with his employer, (a so called Consulting giant) Booz Allen. In receiving his top secret clearance, Snowden also signed an unambiguous statement to not divulge classified information to any unauthorized recipient. And Mr. Snowden took an oath—two oaths. The first oath was taken in 2004 when he volunteered in the US Army and was medically discharged months later. He became a CIA employee in 2006 where he took his second oath. The on entrance into active Army duty was:
“I, Edward Snowden, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of th United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.”
It is important to note that this oath solemnly swears to “obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.” The current UCMJ holds each enlisted oath taker accountable, on pain of court martial, to disobey unlawful orders. The second oath taken when Snowden entered into CIA employment is:
I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God.
It is clear the CIA oath is to the Constitution. If, having taken this oath, Snowden found secret government actions in clear violation of the Constitution, was he not bound by his oath to make them known? The NSA surveillance programs against virtually all Americans, if not reined in, will destroy the Fourth Amendment. To protect all Americans from the heavy hand of a tyrannical government, the 4th Amendment reads:
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
The question for Ambassador Bolton is, since Snowden could not keep both his oaths to protect and defend the Constitution and his contractual commitment to not divulge classified information, what would you have Snowden do. Or, Mr. Ambassador, what would do if your choice was between the Constitution and DNI James Clapper? Or between the Constitution and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano? Or between the Constitution and President Obama? I would hope, Mr. Ambassador, a huge majority or your “299-million 999-thousand 999 of us” would decide for the Constitution. I firmly and confidently trust you too would decide for the Constitution, Mr. Ambassador.
The fourth Amendment to the Constitution for the United States of America is: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
This clearly means every arm of every branch of the Federal government. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are so clear, concise and simple. But, golly, we learned last week the government needs to spy on all Americans to fight terrorism. “What”? Don’t you see? The government needs to spy on all Americans to fight terrorism.
It didn’t start with spying on all of us but it did start 11 years and 9 months ago with the government’s new plan to stop terrorism: search every American preparing to board a plane—that ought to stop terrorism the government seemed to say. The Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) was born. But were these traveling Americans where the anti-terrorism focus should have been then? And is the invasion privacy of all Americans where the focus should be now? The answer is no. The notable American born and raised terrorist, Maj. Nidal Hasan, is not now and never has been seen by the Obama government as a terrorist. He is charged with “Work Place Violence.”
It started with the Bush team. They were convinced the cause could not be jihad. “Islam is a peaceful Religion,” President Bush declared. Of course, the Obama government excuses and rewards Islam around the world while spying on you and the President defends the spying as needed to stop terrorism. All of a sudden terrorism is back and the terrorist could be you.
Well terrorism never went away and the source of terrorism could not be clearer. Go back with me to September 11, 2001. That day Commercial Airliners were hijacked and flown in to the twin towers of New York’s World Trade Center bringing them down and into the Pentagon destroying most of one (of 8) side. Finally a plane, likely destined for the United States Capitol, was heroically commandeered by brave, decisive passengers and crashed into a Pennsylvania field.
To keep America safe, it is essential to know who did it. Of the 19 hijackers and 8 other conspirators, 19 were from Saudi Arabia, 1 from Lebanon, 1 from Egypt, 2 from United Arab Emirates, 2 from Yemen, 1 from Pakistan, and 1 from Morocco. All were part of al Qaeda and committed jihadists. It is worth the time to look over the 911 jihad team:
Mushabib al Hamlan, Saudi Arabia, Potential Hijacker
Ali Abdul Aziz Ali, Yemen, Financial Facilitator and Potential Hijacker
Other Conspirator Involved with the Visa and Port of Entry Process
Mohamed al Kahtani, Saudi Arabia, Potential Hijacker
Folks, Americans are not the government’s enemy and, while terror must never be tolerated, it is only a tactic—the tactic of an unnamed enemy, Islam. How can we be sure Islam is the enemy? Because every leader from 57 governments, hundreds of organizations and thousands of mosques say it is so.
President Obama’s friend and personal advisor on how to raise girls, Turkish President RecepTayib Erdogan says, “The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers.” The line is also quoted by Sheikh Yusuf al Qaradawi who is the top Sunni scholar leads the the Muslim Brotherhood quoting their motto, “Allah is our objective; the Prophet is our leader; the Quran is our law; Jihad is our way; dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”
Islam has declared war and is at war with all of Western Civilization in general and Christianity in particular. President Obama’s government is at war with us. I wonder who the DHS high caliber bullets are for.
We learned a lot in a week—almost too much to process. Let’s see, first it was Verizon and only the call origination, destination and duration. Then, well O.K., it is all telephone carriers—but only call origination, destination and duration. Oh golly, it is not just phones it is every way you are connected. At the least it is 9 big digital companies; Microsoft, Google, Yahoo, AOL, You Tube, Facebook Twitter and Skype. Quick do everything you can as fast as you can on Linkedin. What? You don’t believe “second tier” companies such as Linkedin are not involved? Oh, you say you don’t trust the government.
Perhaps you didn’t hear the excuse—er explanation—the government needs to spy on all Americans to fight terrorism. Be sure you got that. Here it is real slow (big print):
The government needs to spy on all Americans to fight terrorism.
President Obama warned you Friday, “You can’t have 100% security, 100% privacy, 0 inconvenience.” Watch:
Former high level Bush adviser, Bradley Blakeman reinforced the Presidential explanation on Greta Van Susteren. He vigorously defended the Obama attack on the 1st & 4th Amendments. “Don’t act like the American people are being picked on by their government. Seemingly the view is the American system is to be destroyed; the American people are to be subjected to tyranny so as to not deal with the evil enemy.”
Yes, Mr. Blakeman, that is the view and that, sir, is the reality. Senator Church was right and you are wrong.
On August 17, 1975, Senator Frank Church appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press to discuss the results of his full-scale investigation into America’s burgeoning intelligence capabilities. Senator Church revealed startling information and closed with a dire warning to every citizen of the United States:
[America’s intelligence gathering] capability at any time could be turned around on the American people and no American would have any privacy left. Such is the capability to monitor everything: telephone conversations, telegrams, it doesn’t matter. There would be no place to hide.
If this government ever became a tyrant, if a dictator ever took charge in this country, the technological capacity that the intelligence community has given the government could enable it to impose total tyranny, and there would be no way to fight back because the most careful effort to combine together in resistance to the government, no matter how privately it was done, is within the reach of the government to know. Such is the capability of this technology.
I don’t want to see this country ever go across the bridge. I know the capacity that is there to make tyranny total in America, and we must see to it that [the NSA] and all agencies that possess this technology operate within the law and under proper supervision so that we never cross over that abyss. That is the abyss from which there is no return.
“If anyone thinks that what’s going on right now with all of this surveillance of American citizens is to fight some sort of foreign enemy, they’re delusional.”
That from Douglas Hagmann’s high level DHS insider. Here is Mr. Hagmann’s article Sunday at Canada Free Press. Please read it all and please digest it all:
Seriously dangerous times ahead. Deadly times. War, and censorship under the color of authority and under the pretext of of national security
Washington, D.C.—Something quite unexpected happened just hours ago, in the dark of night, during a two-day layover in Washington, DC. My son and I are scheduled to take part in a seminar outside of Raleigh, North Carolina this weekend, so we combined our travels to include a side-trip to DC for a business meeting we had previously arranged. It was during this layover that something seemingly ripped from the pages of a spy novel took place.
While I was in the middle of a perfectly good and well needed sleep in the very early hours of this morning, I received a message. I cannot disclose how I received this message, at least not now. The discerning reader will understand why, which, by the way, would make a very interesting story alone. The message was extremely clear and precise. I was to meet my high level DHS insider at a very specific location in Washington, DC, at a time when most ‘normal’ people, except third-shift workers are still asleep. And, I was to come alone and make certain that I was not being followed, and I was to leave any cell phone or electronic device behind.
Seriously? I thought, as I was still trying to make sense of it all. Is all this really necessary? Is this really happening? I considered waking my son to accompany me, but opted to follow the instructions to the letter. Besides, I thought, he’s not the most affable middle-of-the-night person. I left a hastily written but detailed note in my hotel room before my departure in the event something happened. I looked at the digital clock on my rental car (my personal car would never survive our long distance trip). It was 3:20 a.m.
The meeting
I felt like I was part of a spy movie set in our nation’s capital. A chill rose up my spine as I waited in the dark of a chilly, misty and foggy pre-dawn morning. I was to meet with my DHS insider source at a time when most of the nation is asleep, at a place I could swear was featured in the movie All the President’s Men. No one and I mean no one knows I’m here, I thought, as I could see one of the most recognizable national landmarks in the distance.
My source appeared out of nowhere, or so it seemed, and handed me a cup of coffee with the astute observation that I looked like I needed it. So tell me, I asked impatiently, why do we have to meet at this time, at this location, and under such specific circumstances? ‘Because this might be our last meeting,’ he stated.
Maybe it was the lack of sleep, the time, the place, or the chill of the misty rain that caused my sense of foreboding. “Explain,” I asked in an almost demanding tone. So he did, without mincing words.
The details
“If anyone thinks that what’s going on right now with all of this surveillance of American citizens is to fight some sort of foreign enemy, they’re delusional. If people think that this ‘scandal’ can’t get any worse, it will, hour by hour, day by day. This has the ability to bring down our national leadership, the administration and other senior elected officials working in collusion with this administration, both Republican and Democrats. People within the NSA, the Department of Justice, and others, they know who they are, need to come forth with the documentation of ‘policy and practice’ in their possession, disclose what they know, fight what’s going on, and just do their job. I have never seen anything like this, ever. The present administration is going after leakers, media sources, anyone and everyone who is even suspected of ‘betrayal.’ That’s what they call it, ‘betrayal.’ Can you believe the size of their cahones? This administration considers anyone telling the truth about Benghazi, the IRS, hell, you name the issue, ‘betrayal,’” he said.
“We know all this already,” I stated. He looked at me, giving me a look like I’ve never seen, and actually pushed his finger into my chest. “You don’t know jack,” he said, “this is bigger than you can imagine, bigger than anyone can imagine. This administration is collecting names of sources, whistle blowers and their families, names of media sources and everybody they talk to and have talked to, and they already have a huge list. If you’re not working for MSNBC or CNN, you’re probably on that list. If you are a website owner with a brisk readership and a conservative bent, you’re on that list. It’s a political dissident list, not an enemy threat list,” he stated.
“What’s that exactly mean, being on that list, that is,” I asked, trying to make sense of it all.
“It means that there will be censorship under the color of authority of anyone in the U.S. who is attempting to expose what’s going on in our name. It’s about controlling any damning information from reaching epidemic proportions. It’s damage control to the extreme. It’s about the upcoming censorship of the internet in the name of national security. The plans are already in place. These latest reports about ‘spying eyes’ have turned this administration and others connected to it into something very, very dangerous. They feel cornered and threatened, and I’m hearing about some plans they have to shut down the flow of information that is implicating them of wrongdoing. Time is short,” he stated.
“How are they going to do this? How is it even possible” I asked.
“First, they intend to use the Justice Department to silence journalists like in the Rosen case, but they won’t stop there. They will use a host of national security policies, laws, letters, whatever to take out the bigger threats,” he stated.
Next, they will use some sort of excuse, an external threat, and I believe it will be a combination of the economic collapse and a Mid-East war that will begin in Syria to throttle the information that is accessible on the Internet. And you know what? People will believe it!”
Based on what I’ve seen, most of which I should not have seen, the DHS is co-ordinating efforts with other federal agencies to begin to threaten American citizens with incarceration for non-compliance. You know the old talk of color coded lists? Well, this is what they will be using. People exposing the truth about Benghazi, killing the U.S. Dollar, even those questioning Obama?s legal status and eligibility to be President are the current targets. And they’ve had five long years to get to this point. The ugly truth is that these policies and practices did not start under Obama, but long before. This is about the killing of our Constitutional Republic. The murder of our country and the stripping of our rights. While many have been preoccupied with one issue, few have seen the bigger issue. This is the ‘end game,’ for all the marbles,” he stated.
More to come
“Please,” pleaded my source, “get this information out while you can. Tell people what I’m saying, that we don’t have much time, that after the latest exposure of spying, Obama, Jarrett, Axelrod, and others, including members of Congress, have put their plans into high gear. This is about the Marxist takeover of America. This is about our country being able to survive another July 4th holiday. This is about a world war about to break out that will kill millions of people, all because of the agenda of this administration.”
“They are very dangerous and will do anything and everything to stop the onslaught of negative information that’s being reported by the main stream media. But only about one quarter of the real information is being reported. The other three quarters will be the game changer. But first, tell people what I’ve said. Let them know that more will follow but get this information out right now while the internet is still relatively free. Do it today.”
My source provided additional information, but I am abiding by his wish to get this much out. I am writing now to let people know that we are in for seriously dangerous times ahead. Deadly times. War and censorship under the color of authority and under the pretext of of national security. It’s about to get a lot uglier. Stay tuned.
We will stay tuned to Mr. Hagmann and his whistleblowers and locate other whistleblowers as well. In the meantime, we need to (and will) look at the false premise and description of our security challenges and develop ways to answer in the Big Brother reality George Orwell could not have imagined.
According to TheBlaze, Washington Times columnist and Drudge Report editor Joseph Curl on Monday, citing “top Hill sources,” reported that the IRS political targeting scandal is set to “explode.” … “One source says there’s a paper trail to DC, and some who were worried from the get-go kept a paper trail. Wouldn’t say WH, but said ‘high.’”
The fuse was likely lit Tuesday in the Ways and Means Committee hearings on the abuse. Three points starting with the clear strategic blunder by the Democrats. They clearly needed to get in front of this as President Clinton did in 1998. Instead they all essentially blamed the victims who sat in front of them. A perfect response came from Becky Gerritson, leader of the Wetumpka Tea Party, responded with this passionate and moving account of her experience with political intimidation.
“I’m not here as a serf or a vassal,” said Gerritson to the Democrats, at one point tearing up. “I’m not begging my lords for mercy. I’m a born-free American woman, wife, mother, and citizen. And I’m telling my government that you’ve forgotten your place.”
“It’s not your responsibility to look out for my well being and to monitor my speech. It’s not your right to assert an agenda. The post that you occupy exists to preserve American liberty. You’ve sworn to perform that duty and you have faltered.” You must hear her entire compelling testimony:
John Eastman, chairman of the National Organization for Marriage, called for prosecution into what he described as a “felony.” “This just smells and I hope this committee gets to the bottom of it,” he said.
Eastman was one of several conservative activists who claim they were unfairly targeted by the IRS. However, Eastman is making an even more explosive allegation against the tax agency. He says the IRS disclosed confidential tax document information last year.
He explained that information on his organization’s donors was leaked last year and published on the Human Rights Campaign website. Eastman called the group their “principal political opponent” on the issue of gay marriage.
Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) later asked Eastman if he had any proof to back up his allegations — and he said that he did.
“We have identified that this document came from within the IRS,” he said.
“Forensic” specialists working for the National Organization for Marriage were able to strip layers from the document and discovered that “the original document that was posted had originated from within the IRS,” Eastman explained.
He also said the document has “internal IRS stamps,” which “only exist within the IRS.”
“You can imagine our shock and disgust over this,” Eastman told Congress. “We jealously guard our donors.”
The group doesn’t believe the leaking of their information was “inadvertent.” Eastman said his group has been “stonewalled” while requesting an investigation. Watch a portion of Eastman’s testimony below as two other citizens gave compelling testimony:
Democrat Congressman Jim McDermott, WA declared that Tea Party and Christian groups wouldn’t have been scrutinized if they didn’t apply for tax-exempt status and engage in the activities they did. You may want to hear his entire stupid line including the charge that these patriots wanted the taxpayers to subsidize them—apparently as though they were collectivists and Communists like himself or Obama. McDermott finishes up and Congressman Paul Ryan dispatches McDermott and destroys his ideology in four minutes. While this overlaps the previous video, watch it all:
Just this past April 2, the United Nations passed the first global arms treaty with support from the Obama regime. Second Amendment advocate organizations, with support from a huge majority of the American people, had wisely been in preventive action. The United States Congress listened. By a vote of 53-46, the Senate passed the amendment to the budget bill sponsored by Senator Jim Inhofe (R-Okla.) to uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.” Representative Mike Kelly (R-Penn.) has offered a companion measure in the House. The (joke of a) 2013 Budget bill went to the President March 22.
Did that end the danger—to every American—of the United Nations walking over the Second Amendment? Not if the Obama regime has its way. The Congressional action meant nothing. Secretary Kerry said in prepared remarks Monday the United States will sign the treaty as soon as it is officially prepared in all six official UN languages (likely about two months). This will require ratification by the United States Senate. While Senate ratification dies not now seem possible, we must be vigilant. Here is just the thing to prepare your passion, commitment and focus for the months and years ahead:
