The Tea Party is operating at a new and very effective level.

Breitbart’s Dana Loesch: “I was up there just this past Saturday when 4,000 patriots filled a field in the middle of nowhere, Wisconsin, on the outskirts of Milwaukee. They were energized, engaged, and ready to make their voices heard at the polls.”

Unions delivered Walker voters—Democrats quietly crossed over. (They may get to liking it.)

Wisconsin Supreme Court (conservative) Justice David Prosser barely won his recall election against Liberal JoAnne Kloppenburg April 6, 2011.

14 months later, Governor Walker, along with Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch, won a massive victory last night. (Three of four recalled Republican Senators also defended their seats. Results are not yet in for the fourth.)

Governor Walker:

“I want to thank God for His abundant grace. I want to thank all of you here and our friends across Wisconsin for your Prayers.”

On now to the next chapter in restoring our country: Holding the House of Representatives; winning the United States Senate; winning the Presidency.

GET OUT THE VOTE—REALLY? —OR IS IT MASSIVE FRAUD VOTING?

Liberal Minnesota activists headed into western Wisconsin this morning to “get out the vote.” Really? We’ve had experience with liberal Minnesota activists. Do we—can we—believe they are there for merely lawful activity? No, we can’t. They almost certainly are union thugs. We must suspect they are very likely there to cast fraud votes. If they came in from Minnesota, what about thugs from Iowa, Michigan and, especially, Illinois? They are there too. Wisconsin Attorney General, Republican J.B. Van Hollen has trained teams of lawyers and investigators around the state to watch the polls. These teams are notably heading for cities these out of state thugs have invaded. Please, you, along with Van Hollen, be vigilant. Polls close in four hours.

WHERE WAS OBAMA FRIDAY? NOT IN WISCONSIN

(I send an email to Patriots. Occasionally I write am email that should have been a post here. That happened Saturday. It is actually dated after midnight. So here it is.)

Plus a “Jobs” speech in Minneapolis to charge off the trip.

You can imagine unsavory characters in Chicago. Here’s one of the many here in Minnesota:

In response to Keillor’s 2008 endorsement, Obama said, “As president, I will wake up every day thinking about how I can help make life better in places like Lake Wobegon all across the country.”  As you know, there is no crime or unemployment in Lake Wobegon and all the children are above average. It is now clear he should have set his sights lower on places like Chicago Congressman Bobby Rush’s neighborhood where too often young men, who look like the son Obama didn’t have, turn up dead—shot by some white-African American. But Keillor is not the reason for this Daily Call. This is:

Golly, four days before the recall election of Governor Walker, Lt. Governor Kleefisch and four Republican State Senators, President Obama flew right over Wisconsin and didn’t stop to support the Democrat challengers. We all know the energy and momentum is with the Republicans and their successful reforms. The Democrats and the union thugs need help but where was Obama? Did he have their backs? Heck no! He was 40,000 feet above them on the way to pick up some fat checks from Garrison Kiellor’s rich friends in Lake Wobegon. Obama clearly knows what we may not; Walker & company are in good shape in Wisconsin now and he (Obama) is on the way to a loss in Wisconsin in November.

KNOWN AND UNKNOWN: THE ENVIRONMENTAL DANGER FROM OIL AND GAS PIPELINES

The Obama administration has stopped construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline in a section that includes mostly Nebraska. This map shows the uncompleted section the Obama environmental police is holding up because of “concerns” about the risk of groundwater contamination and other pollution. It runs through Saskatchewan, Montana, South Dakota and Nebraska. Obama recently approved the construction of the section from Cushing Oklahoma to Houston. As you can see, another earlier part of the same project carries oil safely from Hardisty, Alberta all the way to Patoka, IL.

But what do we really know about the dangers of oil and gas pipelines? Quite a bit. It turns out we have been using them safely and cleanly for many, many years. Actually, they move America. Take a look at this 2008 (before Obama) map:

ON THE AMERICAN ROAD WITH SARAH PALIN—DAY 2: WE THE PEOPLE

Day 2 We the People

Sarah is among many who have been committed to Constitutional Conservatism long before she wrote this chapter. “We the People” is a theme that we have had for two years here at the Patriot’s Trumpet.

In her typical direct style, Sarah goes right to the heart of our charge to restore America. The American Constitution, older than any of the dozens in existence around the world is singularly different from all the rest. The American Constitution alone is a document where the people charge the government with what it must do. Take a look:

“We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

All other Constitutions, written by some form of ruling elite, tell the person which rights the government grants to them. Sarah succinctly but powerfully points out that all governments that can grant rights, can, will and do take them away. “[O]ur Constitution . . .  . doesn’t give us rights—it describes a government that protects our God-given rights. It puts us in charge.”

In this powerful We the People chapter Sarah draws the distinction (along with presidents Regan and Coolidge) between we, who want to restore America to her founding principles, and those who want to fundamentally transform America. In her trademark way Sarah punctuated the chapter with experiences drawn from her travels such as the handwritten sign in black, acrylic paint on neon poster board that said simply, “Governments Don’t Give Rights. Governments Take Rights Away.”

ON THE AMERICAN ROAD WITH SARAH PALIN—DAY 1 AN AMERICAN AWAKENING

Day 1 an American Awakening

We refer to this present Great Awakening here. We believe this blog is part of it. Perhaps we have never really defined it. Let’s get at it. What is an American Awakening?

My family and I have spent a lot of the past year traveling the country. I’ve visited dozens of cities in more than half of the fifty states on a tour for my first book, Going Rogue,helping out candidates running for office, and promoting pro-American causes. My visit to Boston was the next-to-last stop of the Tea Party Express in a forty-four-city, three-week tour. I was there when the tour began, in the desert sands of Searchlight, Nevada, when more than ten thousand citizens turned out to take back their government. And I was there in Boston for one last rally before the tour ended on Tax Day in (where else, when the issue is “taking back our government”?) Washington, D.C.

Along the way, I’ve talked to literally thousands of Americans from all across the country. I’ve met with folks in their living rooms, at their businesses, and at boisterous, country- music-jammin’ rallies. What’s more, hundreds of people have sent me books, magazine articles, snippets of speeches, and their own comments with different takes on America.

What I’ve learned from all this traveling and meeting and talking and reading is this: the spark of patriotic indignation that inspired the Americans who fought for our freedom and independence has been ignited once again! Americans are reawakening to the ideas, the principles, the habits of the heart, and disciplines of the mind that made America great. This isn’t a political awakening. It’s an American awakening.

Sarah called the source of this awakening a spark. A spark from where? From God of course. Expect this book to be about “Habits of the Heart” and “Disciplines of the mind.” Here is a sample of what Sarah found about Americans:

  • Americans still “cling” to our founding values.
  • We don’t want a “fundamental transformation.”
  • “We are worried about our families and whether as a country we [still honor] the role and responsibility of mothers.”
  • We are concerned that “[W]e are not protecting the innocence and safety of our children.”
  • We are concerned that “[W]e are becoming of freedom from religion.”
  • “The thing [in her speeches] that gets the most enthusiastic response is when I talk about America’s founding ideas and documents.”   

This is going to be a great trip!

SUPPORT GOVERNOR SCOTT WALKER NOW—HE’S MORE THAN THE REAL DEAL

The Issue

The people of most American states face a choice to operate frugally, responsibly and responsively to We the People as demonstrated by North Dakota or follow the out of control state special interest spending and continue down the road to destruction best demonstrated by California. Under Governor Scott Walker’s remarkably effective leadership, Wisconsin chose a path towards frugal, responsible and responsive State government.

But the greedy thug “takers” in Wisconsin were joined by greedy thug “takers” from across America who correctly understood that the dye for the shape of America’s future was and is being cast in Wisconsin. Their final ploy is the recall election against Governor Walker, Lieutenant Governor plus Rebecca Kleefisch, and three State Senators. At this date, Governor Walker is ahead in polls and clearly has momentum. But the thug “takers” and their out of state reinforcements are capable and ready to steal the election. Election fraud and theft is highly developed in several Wisconsin counties.

But, to quote Hugh Hewitt, “If it’s not close, they can’t cheat.” We must help keep the momentum right on through the recall election, June, 5th.

Meet Governor Walker

Over the past year we’ve gotten to know Governor Walker but, have you met him? Did you know his Wife’s name is Tonette and they have two teenage sons, Matt and Alex? Did you know Governor Walker’s father was a Baptist pastor? Did you know he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout? And did you know he has a track record in Government?

  • As a state assemblyman, Scott Walker, took the lead in cleaning up dysfunctional criminal sentencing and protecting pharmacists from discipline for not filling “emergency contraception” prescriptions.
  • As the Milwaukee County Executive, Walker reduced the county workforce by one fourth, ran nine balanced budgets without raising taxes and paid down the county debt by 30%.
  • His eight and one half years as County executive may be unique. He refused about $450,000 of his executive salary.
  • Governor Walker has a long and strong track record on life and family issues. His record is 100% pro-life. He believes life should be protected from conception to natural death. He opposes abortion in all circumstances, including in cases of rape and incest. He supports abstinence-only sex education in the public schools, and opposes state supported clinical services that provide birth control and testing and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases to teens under the age of 18 without parental consent. He supports adult stem cell research but opposes human embryonic stem cell research.

Your prayers for Governor Walker, Lt. Governor Kleefisch and the three legislators are important right on through the recall election.

THE 2012 ELECTION WILL TURN, IN PART, ON UNDERSTANDING WHY WE ARE RACISTS AND WHY WE MUST STAY THAT WAY

Before 2009, I firmly and confidently knew I was not a racist. I knew and know I do not have a bone in my body that considers racial DNA to be determinative of any limitation. But I did not understand that this dictionary definition of racist is incorrect:

The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others. 2. Discrimination or prejudice based on race.

Liberals have long since redefined “racist” in the same way they redefined “gay” which, of course, should be:

Merry; airy; jovial; sportive; frolicksome. It denotes more life and animation than cheerful.

Of course the present perversion is quite the opposite.

So, what is a racist? Roughly racists are white individuals who sees themselves and others as individuals and who think they own the rewards of their own labor. You must be a member of an identity group and the rewards of your labor are the governments to be allotted by the political process according to identity groups. Individuals don’t count. If you are non-white and believe in American individualism, you are not a racist, you are just scorned as someone who has lost your identity and your value. It must be understood that this definition includes understanding border security as a racist concept.

Our awakening came early in our “first gay presidency.” In February 2009, the new Attorney General, Eric Holder, famously called us out, “In things racial, we are a nation of cowards.” The racial healing begun 60 years before by Dr. Martin Luther King and so many others was history. Race was to be a central weapon in the final battle to destroy Constitutional America.

The day after Holder called us out, Rick Santelli spontaneously launched the Tea Party “movement” which was immediately labeled “racist.” They (Tea Party types) seemed to think their money wasn’t the governments and therefore identity group’s property. Here is Santelli’s famous rant. The Tea Party launch is at 2:11 minutes.

We are the enemy of the left. As such, we must understand them. This post is one effort. The dark side is ably represented by Tim Wise. As an introduction to Mr. Wise, consider his statement in the wake of the Tucson massacre, “Unlike some, I will not attempt to make murderer and would-be political assassin Jared Loughner into a poster-boy for the Tea Party. As it turns out, such a feat would do Mr. Loughner an injustice . . . .” Mr. Wise is committed for life to the Progressive cause and works tirelessly towards the demise of Liberty and his own (“racist”) white race.

I know, you think you’ve taken “your country back” with this election — and of course you have always thought it was yours for the taking, cuz that’s what we white folks are bred to believe, that it’s ours, and how dare anyone else say otherwise — but you are wrong.

You have won a small battle in a larger war the meaning of which you do not remotely understand.

‘Cuz there is nothing even slightly original about you.

There have always been those who wanted to take the country back.

There were those who, in past years, wanted to take the country back to a time of enslavement and indentured servitude.

But they lost.

There were those who wanted to take us back to a time when children could be made to work in mines and factories, when workers had no legal rights to speak of, when the skies in every major city were heavy with industrial soot that would gather on sidewalks and windowsills like volcanic ash.

But they lost.

There were those who wanted to take us back to a time when women could not vote, or attend any but a few colleges, or get loans in their own names, or start their own businesses.

But they lost.

There were those who wanted to take us back to a time when blacks “had no rights that the white man was bound to respect,” – this being the official opinion of the Supreme Court before those awful days of judicial activism, now decried by the likes of you – and when people of color could legally be kept from voting solely because of race, or holding certain jobs, or living in certain neighborhoods, or run out of other towns altogether when the sun would go down, or be strung up from trees.

But they lost.

And you will lose. 

So make a note of it.

It is coming, and soon.

This isn’t hubris. It isn’t ideology. It is not wishful thinking.

It is math.

Not even advanced math. Just simple, basic, like 3rd grade math.

The kind of math that proves how your kind — mostly older white folks beholden to an absurd, inaccurate, nostalgic fantasy of what America used to be like — are dying.

You’re like the bad guy in every horror movie ever made, who gets shot five times, or stabbed ten, or blown up twice, and who will eventually pass — even if it takes four sequels to make it happen — but who in the meantime keeps coming back around, grabbing at our ankles as we walk by, we having been mistakenly convinced that you were finally dead this time.

Fair enough, and have at it. But remember how this movie ends.

Our ankles survive.

You do not.

Michael Meyers, Freddie Kreuger, Jason, and that asshole husband in that movie with Julia Roberts who tracks her down after she runs away and changes her identity–they are all done. Even that crazy fucker in Saw is about to be finished off for good. Granted, he’s gonna be popping out in 3-D to scare the kiddies, so he isn’t going quietly. But he’s going, as all bad guys eventually do.

And in the pantheon of American history, conservative old white people have pretty much always been the bad guys, the keepers of the hegemonic and reactionary flame, the folks unwilling to share the category of American with others on equal terms.

Fine, keep it up. It doesn’t matter.

Because you’re on the endangered list.

And unlike, say, the bald eagle or some exotic species of muskrat, you are not worth saving.

In forty years or so, maybe fewer, there won’t be any more white people around who actually remember that Leave it to Beaver, Father Knows Best, Opie-Taylor-Down-at-the-Fishing Hole cornpone bullshit that you hold so near and dear to your heart.

There won’t be any more white folks around who think the 1950s were the good old days, because there won’t be any more white folks around who actually remember them, and so therefore, we’ll be able to teach about them accurately and honestly, without hurting your precious feelings, or those of the so-called “greatest generation” — a bunch whose white contingent was top-heavy with ethical miscreants who helped save the world from fascism only to return home and oppose the ending of it here, by doing nothing to lift a finger on behalf of the civil rights struggle.

It’s OK. Because in about forty years, half the country will be black or brown. And there is nothing you can do about it.

Nothing, Senõr Tancredo.

Nothing, Senõra Angle, or Senõra Brewer, or Senõr Beck.

And by then you will have gone all in as a white nationalist movement — hell you’ve all but done that now — thus guaranteeing that the folks of color, and even a decent size minority of us white folks will be able to crush you, election after election, from the Presidency on down to the 8th grade student council.

Like I said, this is math. And numbers don’t lie.

Bottom line, this too shall pass.

So enjoy your tax cuts a while longer.

Go buy whatever you people buy when your taxes get cut: a new car or two, a bigger house, an island. Whatever.

Go back to trading your derivatives, engaging in rampant financial speculation that produces nothing of value, that turns the whole world into your personal casino. Whatever.

Play your hand, and for the love of God play it big. Real big. As in, shoot for the moon big. As in, try to privatize Social Security, and health care, and everything else. Whatever.

At least that way everyone will be able to see what you’re really about.We’ve been trying to tell them, but nothing beats seeing it with your own eyes, so “Go big or go home,” Bubba.

“Git ‘er Done.”

“Cowboy up,” or whatever other stupid catch phrase strikes your fancy.

Just promise you’ll do more than talk this time.

Please, or as one of your celluloid heroes might put it, “make my day.”

Do whatever you gotta do, but remember that those who are the victims of your greed and indifference take the long view.

They know, but you do not, that justice is not for the sprinters, but rather for the long distance runners who will be hitting their second wind, right about the time that you collapse from exhaustion.

They are like the tortoise to your hare.

They are like the San Francisco Giants, to your New York Yankees: a bunch that loses year after year after year, until they finally win.

You have had this confidence before, remember?

You thought you had secured your position permanently after the overthrow of reconstruction in the wake of the civil war, after the elimination of the New Deal, after the Reagan revolution, after the Republican electoral victory of 1994. And yet, those you thought you had cowed and defeated are still here.

Because those who have lived on the margins, who have been abused, maligned, targeted by austerity measures and budget cuts, subjected to racism, classism, sexism, straight supremacy and every other form of oppression always know more about their abusers than the abusers know about their victims.

They have to study you, to pay careful attention, to adjust their body armor accordingly, and to memorize your sleep patterns.

You, on the other hand, need know nothing whatsoever about them. And this, will surely prove politically fatal to you in the end. For it means you will not know their resolve. Will not fear it, as you should.

It means you will take their greatest strength — perseverance — and make of it a weakness, called losing.

But what you forget, or more to the point never knew, is that those who lose know how to lose, which is to say they know how to lose with dignity.

And those who suffer know how to suffer, which is to say they know how to survive: a skill that is in short supply amid the likes of you.

You, who could not survive the thought of minimal health care reform, or financial regulation, or a marginal tax rate equal to that which you paid just 10 years earlier, perhaps are under the illusion that everyone is as weak as you, as soft as you, as akin to petulant children as you are, as unable to cope with the smallest setback, the slightest challenge to the way you think your country should look and feel, and operate.

But they are not.

And they know how to regroup, and plot, and plan, and they are planning even now — we are — your destruction.

And I do not mean by that your physical destruction. We don’t play those games. We’re not into the whole “Second Amendment remedies, militia, armed resistance” bullshit that your side fetishizes, cuz, see, we don’t have to be. We don’t need guns.

We just have to be patient.

And wait for you to pass into that good night, first politically, and then, well…

Do you hear it?

The sound of your empire dying? Your nation, as you knew it, ending, permanently?

Because I do, and the sound of its demise is beautiful.

So know this.

If you thought this election was payback for 2008, remember…

Payback, thy name is…

Temporary.

Here is a deeper view of the mindset you have just experienced. It is critical we understand it. Please make the time.

Let us work for a new direction in November where Liberty is restored in America for every individual of every race where each is free to achieve with models such as Justice Clarence Thomas.
