This is sadly the first of three posts on the incalculable disaster when the College of Cardinals made Jorge Mario Bergoglio Pope

PART I Francis the Pope of the false principle of diversity

It is true that I (born and will die a Protestant) was a huge enthusiast of Pope Benedict XVI. There is not much said about it but many American Protestants have for decades thought Papal international pronouncements reasonably represented all Christians. My worst fears when Pope Francis was chosen and announced nearly two years ago have been realized.

The Vatican should be the leader in promoting the gifts of life and Liberty from Jesus to the world. Under Francis it is not and may never again be because, in promoting 15 Bishops to Cardinal (an additional 5 were named Cardinal ceremonially), Francis functionally established the Vatican as the office for the false principle of diversity for 1.2 billion Catholics. I doubt a single one of those new Cardinals knows anything about Liberty let alone its author. They all are from cultures where the Church promotes redistribution and Liberty is unknown.

Remember diversity is: the state of having people who are different races or who have different cultures in a group or organization. Diversity is a fact.  Left wing institution in America has offices of diversity to count by race, gender, sexual orientation etc. The Roman Catholic Church now has its office of diversity—the Vatican. American universities combine diversity with equity. Expect Francis, the vicar of Rome, to add equity to the his new enterprise at the Vatican which would more resemble an office of Marx than Jesus Christ.

Pope Francis is not done. Neither am I and neither should you be done—especially if you are a Catholic!

Satan works subtly sometimes, and boldly, in the open, at others. I think we’re seeing a theology of spiritual death released on the world now, aided by folks in high places.
