LEFT WING PRESS TRIES TO MARGINALIZE A NEW LEADER FOR AMERICA

Yesterday we introduced you to E. W. Jackson, an emerging leader with an exciting vision for America.  At the same time, the left wing media tried to marginalize Bishop Jackson with charged characterizations such as “bigot” from the Huffington Post. That later. First, the New York Times called Jackson a beguiling extremist.”

Let’s see what Bishop Jackson said that the New York Times finds extreme.

  • Fellow patriots.
  • I am a proud citizen of the greatest state in this Union, the Commonwealth of Virginia. My ancestors go back more than 200 years ago in Orange County, Virginia.
  • I am running to be Lieutenant Governor of Virginia for one primary reason – to make sure that Virginia remains sovereign and free!
  • We say that every Virginian, regardless of your race, background or economic status, we want you to fulfill your dreams, to be able to support your families, and to know that your children will have a better life than the life that you have had.
  • I grew up in a foster home for most of my childhood.  We want the dream of hope and opportunity that America has meant to me to be available to every child.
  • How can we do that?  Ronald Reagan said the answers are not necessarily easy, but they are simple.
  • Here’s how we do it.  Get the government off our backs, off our property, off our guns, out of our families, out of our health care, and out of our way!

Jackson then declared:

E. W. Jackson

I took an oath in August of 1970 in the United States Marine Corps to the Constitution of the United States that I would preserve protect and defend it against all enemies foreign and domestic and bear true faith and allegiance to the same.  That oath never had an expiration date, and included in that oath is something called the tenth amendment to that constitution which said that the Commonwealth of Virginia is a sovereign state.

    • We do not have to ask the government’s permission to get our coal and our oil and our gas out of the ground.
    • We do not need their permission to farm our land or sell our products.
    • And … we do not need their permission to have a pond on our property or a party in our house.

He continued:

We in Virginia still hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal and endowed by our Creator with such inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  And so, we stand up…

    • We stand up for property rights because there is no liberty when the government dictates what you do on your own property.
    • We stand up for the free market because there is no liberty when the government dictates your economic destiny.
    • We stand up for the lives of unborn children because there is no liberty without freedom.
    • And we stand up for the traditional family because there is no liberty when government tries to violate our conscience.
    • And we stand up for parental choice in education because there is no liberty when children are indoctrinated instead of educated.
    • And yes, and yes, we stand up for the second amendment because there is no liberty where madmen get to go into our schools and slaughter our children and we don’t have the ability to stop them.

Then powerfully:

Ronald Reagan said freedom is never more than one generation from extinction.  We do not pass it on to our children in the bloodstream.  It must be fought for and protected and passed on to them to do the same or we will spend our sunset years telling our children that the United States of America where once men were free.  That’s not our vision.

Our vision is captured in my favorite patriotic hymn.  My country tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.  Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim’s pride, from every mountainside let freedom ring.  And because this is my vision for our country, I am proud to say that I am not an African-American, I am an American.

Perhaps this is the extremism:

I am tired of the hyphenation.  No more hyphenation.  I have a 21st vision – 21st century vision for our country.  It is a vision to end the racial and class and economic division that liberals are forcing on us.  It is a vision of faith, a vision of family, a vision of individual liberty and personal responsibility.  It is a vision of one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.

This is our vision.  This is our hope.  This is what I will fight for as your next Lieutenant Governor.  Will you fight with me?

From the Southwest to the Northern Neck from Hampton Roads to NoVA, will you fight with me?  And we will not only win the election in November.  We will win the hearts and minds of our people, and we will save this Commonwealth and save this country.  God will show us the way, but Virginia must lead the way, and let liberty light the way.

God Bless you, God bless the Commonwealth of Virginia, and God Bless the United States of America!

Watch this wonderful “extremism” here.

The Huffington Post is obviously dedicated to killing little babies

The Huffington Post headlined Jackson as a “VA Bigot” because he said, “Planned Parenthood had been more harmful to African-Americans than the Ku Klux Klan”—a very peculiar use of the word bigot. This source estimates from 1865 to 1973 the Klan killed 1,937 people; about 85% were black and 15 % white. Others, perhaps hundreds of thousands were injured or intimidated by the Klan.

On the other hand, according to figures released by Planned Parenthood, PPA legally murdered 333,964 babies in 2011 alone. While we know the legal slaughter was about 20% higher in the first 25 years, let’s just for the sake of a comparative number, round the 2011 figure down to 333,000 and use the number as conservatively representative of Planned Parenthood’s deadly rampage.

13 Million of God’s children slaughtered by PPA

This low estimate means PPA has slaughtered 13,320,000 of God’s children; not to mention the damaged souls of millions of women. Granted, black babies account for far less than 85% of the total murdered. Currently blacks account for an all time high of 40% of babies legally killed in America. Let’s set the 40 year average at a modest 30% for blacks or 4,000,000 little black babies compared to 1,650 black people of all ages killed by the Klan—2425 to one killed by PPA in only 40 years.

It is profoundly clear who the bigots are. Go Virginia, elect a great team to lead your state and influence America; Ken Cuccinelli for Governor and E. W. Jackson for Lt. Governor.

POWERFUL VISION FOR A RESTORED AMERICA: BISHOP E. W. JACKSON

“We will save this commonwealth and save this country!”

Bishop E. W. Jackson

Bishop E. W. Jackson is the 2013 Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia. In his address to the Republican Party of Virginia 2013 nomination convention Jackson declared:

“I have a 21st Century vision for our country. It is a vision to end the racial and class and economic division that Liberals have foisted on us. It is a vision of faith and family and Liberty and personal responsibility. It is a vision of one nation under God indivisible with Liberty and justice for all.”

Every bit of his 8 minute address is an equally inspirational vision. Watch it all:

AMERICAN CHRISTIANS ARE OPPOSED BY ISLAM AND NOW BY THEIR GOVERNMENT

Just Saturday I reported that the Obama Department of Homeland Security, within weeks of coming to power in 2009, issued a warning to monitor and be prepared to act against “Rightwing extremist groups.” After considerable blowback, the warning program was withdrawn. Turns out it never went away. Today the Huffington Post and others are reporting DHS has issued a new report that “Rightwing extremism is on the rise.” And that the DHS’s Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties notified local and national law enforcement officials that it is Obama administration policy to consider specifically Islamic criticism of the American system of government legitimate.

This Administration knows that Rightwing extremists are overwhelmingly Christian. You may be aware that Christian chaplains are ordered not to invoke the name of Jesus in public prayers. Yesterday Jerry McConnell writing in the Canada Free Press declared the Obama Administration now favors Muslim clerics for Christian American Military burial services. Quoting GregC of Radio America, “Perhaps the greatest insult to the families [of American servicemen killed in an August 2011 Chinook Helicopter crash in Afghanistan] was at the funeral for their sons in Afghanistan.  The military refused to allow a Christian minister or chaplain at the service and instead brought in a Muslim cleric who proceeded to slander the fallen. Read the entire article.

Meanwhile most American Christians obviously don’t know or don’t care. This must change. It is up to you and me to change it.

SENATOR CHURCH DIDN’T KNOW WHAT WOULD HIT EACH OF US TODAY WHEN HE WARNED AGAINST THE ABYSS

Last September 29, I wrote:

According to the Daily Caller, “The White House is close to completing the text of an cybersecurity executive order, continuing its pursuit of expanding executive branch authority over the Internet.” The executive order would serve stated “government needs” after conservatives stopped a bipartisan effort (Senators Lieberman and McCain for example) in Congress to legislate “cybersecurity.” The unspoken and under reported consequences of this high handed and near tyrannical action is government intrusion into free expression on the Internet and to keep detailed records on every facet of each citizens life.  The implication clearly is we are all prospective terrorists or enemies of the state.

Government heavy-handedness exists worldwide. China is a notable example of government regulation and censorship. The explanation for the impending executive action is potential terrorist threats against America’s utility grids and networks. But a barn door is being opened that is likely to prove near impossible to close against expanding and frightening government cyber-snooping. The danger of massive government abuse of your privacy has been around a long time. In the Preface of his new best selling thriller, Black List Brad Thor wrote:

On August 17, 1975, Senator Frank Church appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press to discuss the results of his full-scale investigation into America’s burgeoning intelligence capabilities. Senator Church revealed startling information and closed with a dire warning to every citizen of the United States:

[America’s intelligence gathering] capability at any time could be turned around on the American people and no American would have any privacy left. Such is the capability to monitor everything: telephone conversations, telegrams, it doesn’t matter. There would be no place to hide.

If this government ever became a tyrant, if a dictator ever took charge in this country, the technological capacity that the intelligence community has given the government could enable it to impose total tyranny, and there would be no way to fight back because the most careful effort to combine together in resistance to the government, no matter how privately it was done, is within the reach of the government to know. Such is the capability of this technology.

I don’t want to see this country ever go across the bridge. I know the capacity that is there to make tyranny total in America, and we must see to it that [the NSA} and all agencies that possess this technology operate within the law and under proper supervision so that we never cross over that abyss. That is the abyss from which there is no return.

Little did I know my warning was too late. We now know we crossed over into the abyss 35—and more likely 34—years after Senator Church’s warning, not 37. Hundreds American patriots had already found out as they were intimidated by the IRS and up to 16 other U.S. Government agencies. Journalist’s first amendment rights were being trampled. One, Fox News Washington Bureau Chief James Rosen, was being investigated by DOJ—and the FBI for God’s sake—for criminal activity. Let us keep in mind that we call it the abyss because we cannot see through the darkness. What we know today is very likely only the scratch of the scratch of the surface of the damage already done to our country. We must assume the tyrants have worked their agenda far more broadly and deeply than we can imagine.

Should you be compelled to act, I strongly suggest you pray as your first act and commit to stay in prayer until, with His help, we bring the tyrants down and bring ourselves back over from the abyss. Next, be informed about what we face. You can get much of the fundamentals in about 3 hours of documentaries.

First watch or re-watch Agenda: Grinding America Down from Curtis Bowers and Black Hat Films from Bowers’ Copybook Headings Productions.

Then watch the 2010 documentary Generation Zero from Breitbart’s Chairman Steve Bannon, Executive Producer and Dave Bossie, Producer, President of Citizens United.

Please pray until you have your plan; then pray as you act on your plan. God bless you.

“IS THIS STILL AMERICA,” MR. PRESIDENT?

The House Ways and Means Committee held the first of many hearings yesterday to uncover the facts surrounding the almost certainly illegal targeting of conservative and Christian Americans and groups. Representative Kevin Brady R, TX, recounted a single chilling experience a conservative American had for months, asked outgoing Acting IRS Commissioner, Steven Miller, “Is this still America?”

Well, Mr. President, is this still America?

  • After the “Fast and Furious” gun running to Mexican drug cartels has been buried like a brave American agent and more than 100 Mexicans, is this still America, Mr. President?
  • Within weeks of coming to power in 2009, the Department of Homeland Security issued a warning to monitor and be prepared to act against “Rightwing extremist groups.” After considerable blowback, the warning program was withdrawn. Turns out it never went away. Today the Huffington Post and others are reporting DHS has issued a new report that “Rightwing extremism is on the rise.” Is this still America, Mr. President?
  • Yesterday, however, in a checklist obtained by The Daily Caller entitled “Countering Violent Extremism Dos and Don’ts” the DHS’s Office of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties notifies local and national law enforcement officials that it is Obama administration policy to consider specifically Islamic criticism of the American system of government legitimate. Is this still America Mr. President
  • Just this past Tuesday, Republican Senators revealed DHHS contacted health industry executives, community organizations and church groups that are set to enter  “exchanges” or “help enroll” people, seeking donations—illegal pay to play money. Is this still America, Mr. President?
  • Since you did say you believe in the First Amendment, Mr. President, I know you will not want to forget your DOJ secretly requiring carriers to turn over three month of records from 20 AP phone lines. Is this still America, Mr. President?
  • No, Mr. President, we have not forgotten the Benghazi cover-up. The truth will find its way. Remember our second President, John Adams, explained, “Facts are stubborn things.” Is this still America, Mr. President?

Update: I missed the just revealed Huma Abedin Scandal/cover-up. You may have a point, Mr. President. It is difficult to keep up.

So, Mr. President, pull up a chair to the Ways and Means Committee hearing Friday on the mind numbing IRS abuses of honest Americans and Representative Brady’s question, “Is this still America?”

As you listen to Congressman Paul Ryan delivering “I’m going to help you get some clarity, here,” to Acting Commissioner Miller, what can you say, Mr. President, is this still America?

Finely, Mr. President, watch 2010 Liberty Lister, Pennsylvania Congressman Mike Kelly speaks for all of America, “This is very chilling for the American people. This is a Pandora’s Box that has been opened and I don’t think you can get the lid back on it and I don’t believe that the White House just found out from the news report.” Is this still America, Mr. President?

Applauding Mike Kelly

TAKEDOWN OF EGYPT WAS BY SLAVES OF ISLAM—NOT LOVERS OF LIBERTY

We wait for the American fools to settle on a cause for the Boston Massacre. It could be so many things—bullying? —childhood war experience? They are certain to settle on something to cast the Tsarnaev brothers as victims. My February 21, 2011 post covers a 24 day timeline showing the takedown of Egypt by committed Islamic Jihad leaders well schooled in the manipulation of a mob and Western fools. A review should bring clarity and resolve to us all. Here is is:

DOES EGYPT HAVE ITS OWN AYATOLLAH RUHOLLAH KHOMEINI?

Yes, He Is Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi

A radical Islamist and recognized as one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world. It is all over for Liberty in Egypt. Done. There may be a constitution and there may be an election but there will not be freedom in Egypt; there will be Shariah law. It took less than a month. Let’s lay down the timeline of events in Egypt. January 25, 2011 —The beginning: On a national holiday to commemorate the police forces, Egyptians take to the streets in large numbers, calling it a “day of rage”. egyptian-protesters-a January 26: Obama’s Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, tells reporters that the Egyptian government should “demonstrate its responsiveness to the people of Egypt” by recognizing their “universal rights.”

January 27: Protests continue across several cities. Mohamed ElBaradei, the former head of the “UN nuclear watchdog for the United Nations International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) turned democracy advocate, arrives in Egypt to join the protests. ElBaradei says he is ready to “lead the transition” in Egypt if asked.

January 28: Facebook, Twitter and Blackberry Messenger services are disrupted.  According to the AP, an elite special counterterrorism force has been deployed at strategic points around Cairo in the hours before the planned protests. Egypt’s interior ministry warns of “decisive measures.”

January 29: In a speech delivered shortly after midnight, Mubarak announces that he has sacked the cabinet, but he himself refuses to step down. Egyptian soldiers secure Cairo’s famed antiquities museum, protecting thousands of priceless artifacts, including the gold mask of King Tutankhamun, from looters. Thousands of anti-government protesters in Cairo’s Tahrir Square stand their ground, despite troops firing into the air in a bid to disperse them. Mubarak appoints a vice-president for the first time during his three decades in power. The man now second-in-command is Omar Suleiman, the country’s former spy chief, who has been working closely with Mubarak during most of his reign.

January 30: Thousands of protesters remain in Cairo’s Tahrir Square. ElBaradei addresses the cheering protesters, saying “What we started can never be pushed back”. By now, the Obama Administration, including the President, have been all over the map in public. I am very skeptical of what they might be doing in secret.

I wrote my first post on this uprising, Egypt, Iran and The Haj. For five days, virtually all TV and written coverage has been with the “freedom fighters” and for the overthrow of the Egyptian government. Then there will be democracy in Egypt, they declared. It was actually tough writing my post. No one is for freedom more than me. But everything I have learned, in the 32 years since the Carter Administration’s complicit covert support of the dark forces in Iran, compelled me to be very skeptical about this spontaneous uprising by “students.” So, I wrote

“Egypt is a human powder keg and the fuse may already be lit. “Who can know if President Obama’s hard position towards Mubarak is the right path. In the first place, how can we know if the American “back channel” message towards Mubarak is really all that hard? Perhaps what we hear from the President is for consumption by the left here or Governments elsewhere.

“Let’s be clear, we have been here before. In 1979, we faced an Ayatollah led Muslim extremist uprising in Iran There was a hated, American backed strongman (the Shah) in Tehran. There was a failed President Carter in Washington. 32 years ago, Carter took a hard line: he knocked out the props; the Shah fell. In Iran, we have the —about to be nuclear— dictatorship of the Ayatollahs. Who can calculate the price the World and especially America has paid for Carter’s failure? The human misery and death suffered by the Iranian people is staggering.

“Could our current failed President be making the same mistake? Could a dictatorship of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt be as serious? No question, worse! The inevitable lost energy resources will bring the World to her knees. The hate and rage of the Arab Muslim world is about to explode. Who will come to Israel’s aid? Perhaps, not even the Obama-led American government. Israel can, and I would argue, will take out Cairo, Tehran, Beirut, and any other Arab Capital they find necessary —nuclear if necessary. “Where will it stop? What’ll the Muslim populations in Europe do? What will Obama’s teleprompters do?” Please read the rest.

January 31: Amidst growing calls for his resignation and pressure from Obama, Mubarak refuses to step down Protesters continue to defy the military-imposed curfew. About 250,000 people gather in Cairo’s Tahrir Square. Internet access across Egypt is still shoddy according to most reports. Egypt’s new vice-president promises dialogue with opposition parties in order to push through constitutional reforms. Former President, Israel hater and Hamas lover, Jimmy Carter calls the unrest in Egypt an “earth-shaking event”, and says he guesses Hosni Mubarak “will have to leave.” Israel urges the world to tone down Mubarak criticism amid Egypt unrest to preserve stability in the region.

February 1: Hosni Mubarak announces in a televised address that he will not run for re-election but refuses to leave from office —the apparent central demand of the protesters.

I posted Taking Mubarak To Task noting Egypt is not ranked among the worst 20 human rights abusers, I wrote:

“Of course, the human conditions are terrible in Egypt. We are not for that. But is this devil we know, who kept a peace with Israel for more than 30 years, worse than the devil, we don’t know? American Secular Fundamentalist group, Code Pink is lending their support to overthrow the human rights abuser, Mubarak. (Keep in mind, this outfit sees G. W. Bush as similar to Mubarak but thinks Cuba is paradise.)

“We will have the Muslim Brotherhood if the demonstrators (with help from the Obama regime?) topple Mubarak. Who or what is the Muslim Brotherhood? They are the fountainhead of Hamas and the Sunni terrorist organizations (alQaida). America’s principal Muslim organizations (CAIR) all are committed to the Muslim Brotherhood. “Here is their creed:

‘Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.’”

Moreover I could not find a Samuel Adams or Patrick Henry in this uprising.

February 2: More demonstrations against President Hosni Mubarak’s regime. The army is still deployed with tanks throughout different positions in and around Tahrir Square.

Google improves its “speak2tweet” technology for the people in Egypt.

The Los Angeles Times reports that the Boston entrepreneur Hadid Habbab has called for volunteers to help find his missing friend, Google executive Wael Ghonim, who went missing during the protests of the past week. I missed the Google and Wael Ghonim facts. Had I seen them, I would not have known their profound significance —but, that later.

I posted Once Again, Mr. President, a video of new Congressman Allen West concisely laying out lesson #1 on Islam in under 2 minutes. Of course, the President knows the lesson; he just doesn’t care. But you care; please view it now.

I also posted Egypt From The Inside; I wrote: “We get news of the Egyptian crisis from CNN, AP, Fox or some other news gatherer. We get analysis from an array of fools or, on occasion, from wise men such as John Bolton. President Obama has rarely seemed so clueless. What follows is this rare and opportunity, “The Story From the Inside.”  Clarice Feldman is a regular contributor at The American Thinker. Through a colleague, she brings an incredible story from an Egyptian student, Sam Tadros. Sam writes:

‘One week ago, Egypt was a stable authoritarian regime, prospects of change were minimal and every expert in Washington would have betted on the endurance of its regime. Today, Egypt is in a state of chaos. The regime, even after using its mightiest sword is not able to control the country and the streets of Egypt are in a state of utter lawlessness. As the world stands in awe, confusion, and worry at the unfolding events, perhaps it is important to write the evolving story that is happening in Egypt before any reflections can be made on them.’”

Even now —no, not even now but, rather, more importantly now, we need to soak in Sam’s testimony. Read it all here.

February 3: Gunfire aimed at demonstrators in Tahrir Square, leave at least five people dead and several more wounded, according to reports from Cairo. Mubarak still in town.

February 4: Friday, the Muslim day of prayer, seems like the largest crowd of anti-government protesters, perhaps hundreds of thousands, gather in Cairo’s Tahrir Square for what they have termed the ”Day of Departure.” Mubarak is still in town.

February 5: Thousands remain inside Tahrir Square. Reuters quotes Egyptian state TV as saying “terrorists” have targeted an Israel-Egypt gas pipeline in northern Sinai.

February 6:  Banks officially re-open for 3.5 hours, and traffic police are back on the streets in Cairo, in attempts to get the capital to start returning to normal. Protests continue in Tahrir Square; there are reports of gunshots fired by the army into the air near the cordon set up inside the barricades, near the Egyptian museum. Reports say Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, spoke with Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq (on February 5), emphasizing the need to ensure the legitimate aspirations of the Egyptian people are met and stressing that incidents of harassment and detention of activists and journalists must stop. While there were a number of cases of detention of journalists, the overwhelming issue for journalists was abuse and attacks from demonstrators —as we now know.

I posted Understanding Egypt: What do the Saudis, Syrians and Others Think? We naturally see events in Egypt in the light of the American or Israeli national interest. Let’s set aside the Turks and the Persians. How does Egypt affect the Arab World? Egypt alone is one third of the Arab population. The turmoil in Egypt is terrifying to the Arab governments. Once again my friend, Amil Imani, has the background and knowledge to sort it out. In his piece Friday in The American ThinkerIslam On A Collision Course, Amil provides some clarity and understanding.

February 7: Thousands camp out in Tahrir Square, refusing to leave. While banks have reopened, schools and the stock exchange remain closed. Egypt’s government approve a 15 per cent raise in salaries and pensions in a bid to win over the people. Wael Ghonim, a Google executive and political activist arrested by state authorities, is released; some see him as a potential figurehead for the pro-democracy camp. Along with much of this post, I gathered this after the fact. Stay with me on this guy for a few more days, I’ll explain below.

February 8: Protesters continue to gather at Tahrir Square, which now resembles a tented camp. Protesters in the capital also gather to protest outside parliament. The city sees possibly the biggest crowd of demonstrators, including Egyptians who have returned from abroad and other newcomers mobilized by the release of Google’s activist Wael Ghonim.

I post Darkness and Light —Shariah and Liberty. This post is not so much about the current events in Egypt as it is about getting the American mind around a mindset completely foreign to any of our thinking or experience. Here is part of what I wrote:

“Islam has not been hijacked by extremists. Informed by Judeo-Christian teaching and experience, we can only conclude, Islam is extreme. You and I (and Kristol and Lowery) must understand that wherever Islam prevails, Shariah is the Law.

“The present government of Egypt claims to be secular and not Shariah. But understand this, more than 80% of Egyptian women have been mutilated sexually (cliterectomy) in compliance with Shariah Law. Most of those women (and girls) live in slavery. Free elections will not change that. A current poll reveals 84% of Egyptians believe an apostate (leaving Islam for another belief) must be punished by death —again, Shariah Law. Keep in mind about 10% of Egyptians are Coptic Christians.

“What about Muslims in the United States? With few exceptions, wherever Muslim Mosques exist here, Shariah informs their home life. Women and girls are beaten. Of course non-Muslim women (and occasionally, men) are beaten here, but that is not mandated by Religion or law. Of course our legal code does not include Shariah, but regularly now, Shariah is offered as a partial defense in criminal cases.”

This post contains persuasive evidence supporting the above statements and much more. I hope you go there and read or re-read it all.

February 9: Protests continue with seemingly broadening support. Ahmed Aboul Ghiet, Egypt’s foreign minister, tells al-Arabiya network on Wednesday that the Egyptian army could step in to ”protect the country from an attempt by some adventurers to take power”. Aboul Ghiet tells PBS that he is “infuriated” by the US’s initial response to the unrest in the country, and that he finds the Obama administration’s advice on political transition “not at all” helpful.”

February 10: Protesters in Tahrir Square react with fury when Mubarak says he’s remaining in power until September. Protesters wave their shoes in the air, and demand the army join them in revolt.

February 11:  After tens of thousands people take to the streets across Egypt in angry protests, Hosni Mubarak Resigns and hands over power to the army. The announcement is made by Omar Suleiman, the vice-president. Celebrations begin in Cairo’s streets.

February 12: People celebrate in Tahrir Square until early morning. Pro-democracy protesters start to clean the square. The country’s new military rulers promise to hand power to an elected, civilian government and pledged that Egypt will remain committed to all international treaties, clearly meaning its 1979 peace treaty with Israel. Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi makes (with a forked tongue) a moderate statement about the celebrants in Egypt winning their freedom.

I posted, Democracy In Egypt? Here’s what I said:

What I Heard In Fridays News

Mubarak resigned and left. People in the Cairo streets are rejoicing. They have been pronounced free by reporters. “There will be free and fair elections.” “The Egyptian people will determine their own destiny.” “Egypt will have Democracy!” After all, “every person longs to be free.” Really?

What I Know

Mubarak apparently left office. People in the Cairo streets are rejoicing. The rest is hogwash. Egyptians are no more free today than they were Thursday. Will there be elections? Likely. Will the elections be free? Possibly. Will they be fair? Someone (Obama or the UN) could dispatch Jimmy Carter to observe and declare them fair.

Will Egypt have Democracy? We live in a world where most tyrannies are called democracy. Even the Soviets and Saddam had elections. The Iranians have elections. There are elections in Pakistan. Democracy has not, does not and cannot produce Liberty. The American forefathers got it right, Liberty is an endowment from our Creator; the Judeo-Christian God. It is a gift given to every single human being. Leviticus 25:10 says: “. . . proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all the inhabitants thereof.” Jesus is the only Light of the world.” In Matthew 5:14-16, Jesus tells us:

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.

Christians believe Jesus gave every single person the gift of Liberty at the cross. Liberty in us, through Jesus, is the light of the world. Tyrant and dictators, like Castro, restrict and smother that light. Even in America, the shining city on a hill, busy (liberal) beavers work to trim the “wick” of your lamp through regulation. Islam rejects, despises, disdains, scorns and refutes Liberty.

Islam, through Shariah, smothers the light until the Muslim world lives in darkness. Egypt is an Islamic country. 10% of Egyptians are Coptic Christians. They don’t count. 84% of Egyptians say they want Shariah law. Only 6% of Egyptian Muslims want a secular government.

Figure it out yourself. This is a sad day. Egypt is headed for darkness. They may be celebrating freedom in today’s light but the sad choking hopeless darkness of Shariah is coming for Egyptians; both Christians and Muslims. Could the American government have guided a different outcome? We’ll never know. They didn’t even try.

February 17: Banned Qaradawi returns to lead Friday prayers in Egypt. The hope of western dreamers has evaporated in a week. The “democratic revolution” is over.

February 18, 2011: An estimated crowd of more than a million heard Qaradawi at Tihrir Square. I do not have the text yet,  MEMRI is still translating it. The only source I found trustworthy is called, Pipeline News. Here’s what they got from MEMRI:

Two milliion for Qaradawi

“Al-Qaradawi asked the Egyptian army to open wide the Rafah crossing and to pray for the re-conquest of Jerusalem by the Muslims, so that he and the Muslims could pray in security at Al-Aqsa Mosque. This part of his sermon was cheered and applauded by the crowd….”

Google man, Wael Ghonim, was there to address the throng but he was turned away by al-Qaradawi’s men —so much for Democracy and free speech. But, how is a Google man involved? He is the individual who organized the “spontaneous” uprising. Yes, I said organized. It was planned and organized. By January 25, a date Ghonim chose, he had 400,000 followers on Facebook.

Word is that Ghonim is a secret member of the Muslim Brotherhood. I can’t confirm it and doubt it. If he is MB, wouldn’t he have been part of the al-Qaradawi operation? We’ll learn much more about this in the coming days. Watch for more on how Google itself was involved. If it goes beyond Ghonim, does it go to the White House? How much of this does Israel know?

ISLAMIC JIHAD IS NOT A RADICAL PERVERSION; IT IS NORMAL

As the “Arab Spring” rolled through Egypt, conservatives Bill Kristol, editor of the Weekly Standard and Rich Lowery, editor of the National Review, covering for Charles Krauthammer, attacked Glen Beck for this segment from this February 1, 2011 TV show.

Beck’s map analysis was flawed by cramming analysis that needed about 6 hours into six minutes. But events in the past two years bear Beck out and leave Kristol/Lowery still comatose with Political Correctness.

Here is my February 8, 2011 post addressing the progressing Egyptian “Arab Spring.”

DARKNESS AND LIGHT — SHARIAH AND LIBERTY

The Time Is Now To Write Bluntly; To Break Open Barriers Of Multiculturalism, Diversity; And Much More

Glenn Beck is right; Bill Kristol is wrong; so is Rich Lowery.

Though I generally do not listen to or watch Beck, I know what he is saying. He studies. He is right. Kristol wrote a column in the online Weekly Standard excoriating Beck for misrepresenting the violence in Egypt. After all, “Muslims just want democracy,” goes the Politically Correct line. Lowery agreed at NRO. [This article has been removed] This is bigger than Kristol, Lowery or Beck.

First clarity about me:

My World View is Bible Based. I actually believe the first chapter of the Bible —and the third and the twenty second chapter as well. I believe Exodus, chapter 20 and Deuteronomy, chapter 6. I believe the Twenty Third and the Fifty First Psalm. I believe the first chapter of Proverbs. I believe Isaiah: chapters 5, 7, 9 and 53. I believe the Gospel of John and The Acts of the Apostles. If you know the Holy Bible, you’ll understand the particular picture these selections paint. If you are not really familiar with the Judeo-Christian Scripture, please accept that I believe the Bible and it informs my understanding of everything. This includes confidence that the high ground is with Liberty —not Shariah.

First Tunisia; then Egypt, right? No. This turmoil has been going on for 1390 years. In those 14 centuries, the creed of the Muslim Brotherhood represents the core teaching of Islam from the beginning in 610 A.D. Every American must be familiar with and understand their creed. It is:

“Allah is our objective. The Prophet is our leader. Qur’an is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah is our highest hope.”

Shariah is represented in every phrase. Jihad is our way, they say. Chances are you had not heard of Jihad before September 11, 2001. Actually the first Jihad began in 622 A.D. against the Arabs. The Persians were next. There has always been violent Jihad since 622. Some Jihads are missing here but this is a continuous list:  The Jihad against Zoroastrian Persians of modern day Iran, Baluchistan and Afghanistan (634 to 651),

The Jihad against the Byzantine Christians (634 to 1453), The Jihad against Christian Coptic Egyptians (640 to 655), The Jihad against Christian Coptic Nubians – modern Sudanese (650), The Jihad against pagan Berbers – North Africans (650 to 700), The Jihad against Spaniards (711 to 730), The Reconquista against Jihad in Spain (730 to 1492), The Jihad against Franks – modern French (720 to 732), The Jihad against Sicilians in Italy (812 to 940), The Jihad against Chinese (751), The Jihad against Turks (651 to 751), The Jihad against Armenians and Georgians (1071 to 1920)

The Jihad against Mongols (1260 to 1300), The Jihad against Hindus of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh (638 to 1857), The Jihad against Indonesians and Malays (1450 to 1500), The Jihad against Poland (1444 to 1699), The Jihad against Rumania (1350 to 1699), The Jihad against Russia (1500 to 1853), The Jihad against Bulgaria (1350 to 1843), The Jihad against Serbs, Croats and Albanians (1334 to 1920), The Jihad against Greeks (1450 to 1853)

The Jihad against Albania (1332 – 1853), The Jihad against Croatia (1389 to 1843), The Jihad against Hungarians (1500 to 1683), The Jihad against Austria (1500 – 1683), The Jihad against Germany (1529 – ongoing), Jihad in the Modern Age (20th and 21st Centuries), The Jihad against Israelis (1948 – 2004 ongoing), The Jihad against Americans (1979), The Jihad against the Filipinos in Mindanao(1970 onwards), The Jihad against Indonesian Christians in Malaku and East Timor (1970 onwards), The Global Jihad today (2001 – ongoing)

Islam has not been hijacked by extremists. Informed by Judeo-Christian teaching and experience, we can only conclude, Islam is extreme. You and I (and Kristol and Lowery) must understand that wherever Islam prevails, Shariah is the Law.

The present government of Egypt claims to be secular and not Shariah.

What about Muslims in the United States? With few exceptions, wherever Muslim Mosques exist here, Shariah informs their home life. Women and girls are beaten. Of course non-Muslim women (and occasionally, men) are beaten here, but that is not mandated by Religion or Law. Of course our legal code does not include Shariah, but regularly now, Shariah is offered as a partial defense in criminal cases.

What’s the point of including Shariah and Liberty together? They are polar opposite forces. Islam (Shariah), while not the only, is the most completely articulated system of darkness in the world.  Liberty (there is no plural form) is the very essence of the light of the Christian gospel. Remember, I named Isaiah (5:20):

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that count darkness as light, and light as darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto those who are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight.”

Jefferson, reflecting the common understanding of his time, wrote correctly that Liberty is an unalienable right. When Jefferson wrote, “endowed by their creator,” he actually declared Liberty a gift from God. As a Christian, I believe our Liberty and other unalienable gifts were purchased at the cross. Again, as a Christian, I see freedom from sin as the first expression of that gift. But the God of light for Jews and Christians directed us to “Proclaim Liberty throughout the land.”

What about democracy? Do free elections bring freedom? I know, we agree; a majority of despots, tyrants and dictators hold elections. While we all want free and fair elections, as a synonym for freedom, democracy is a fraud. And our plate is full. Secular Fundamentalists are working hard to “fundamentally transform” us as well.

If Beck is right and if what you have read here is true, (and it is) what is it with Kristol and Lowery? I don’t know. It could be they are determined to be Political Correctly ignorant.  But it is also tough to live in Washington and vary from the template imposed by the “Company Town.” Democrat driven Big Government is the Company, It is tough as the Editor-in-Chief of a conservative periodical to go to parties and face ridicule over the likes of Beck. If toeing the “Company Town” line is the force, it is there for every Conservative writer or Senator or staffer in Washington—not just Kristol and Lowery.

Check Beck out. Or, check my book list on Islam HERE.

GAINING PERSPECTIVE—ONE WEEK OUT FROM THE BOSTON MASSACRE

Looking back at the Arab Spring

A standard definition of “Arab Spring” is: “The democratic uprisings that arose independently and spread across the Arab world in 2011.” (The unrest actually broke out in Tunisia, December 2010.)

Perspective, always tricky, is really tough in the midst of turmoil, political correctness and natural or “man-caused” disaster—all at once. I found a review of the Egyptian Arab Spring is profoundly useful in locating a solid place to stand and a clear view for the coming days as thousands struggle to find the answer, “Why?” We’ll review a few of my posts from the 2011 winter and spring. Let’s start with my first post on Egypt’s new “Spring”, January 30, five days after the commencement of the “spontaneous” uprising in Cairo’s Tahrir Square.

EGYEPT, IRAN AND “THE HAJ”

Which Way For Democracy, Human Rights, Peace and Stability In Egypt?

That question is posed, one way or another throughout the media. The Obama government, we are told, has a very fine line to walk in this crisis. The President and his administration seem to have tipped away from the Mubarak Government in Egypt. Commentators are not overstating the danger, if anything, they are understating it. Egypt is a human powder keg and the fuse may already be lit.

Who can know if President Obama’s hard position towards Mubarak is the right path. In the first place, how can we know if the American “back channel” message towards Mubarak is really all that hard? Perhaps what we hear from the President is for consumption by the left here or Governments elsewhere.

Let’s be clear, we have been here before.

Could our current failed President be making the same mistake? Could a dictatorship of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt be as serious? No question, worse! The inevitable lost energy resources will bring the World to her knees. The hate and rage of the Arab Muslim world is about to explode. Who will come to Israel’s aid? Perhaps, not even the Obama-led American government. Israel can, and I would argue, will take out Cairo, Tehran, Beirut, and any other Arab Capital they find necessary —nuclear if necessary.

Where will it stop? What’ll the Muslim populations in Europe do? What will Obama’s teleprompters do?

I just finished the profoundly important novel, THE HAJ by Leon Uris (Doubleday, 1984). Novels often tell the truth better than non-fiction. I believe The Haj casts light into “this Present Darkness,” and speaks truth to the present crisis.

As the book ends, it is fall, 1956, Haj Ibraham al Soukori, Muktar of Tabah, the West Bank of Palestine, with his family, has been a refugee for years in Jericho, Jordan. The years have been life draining; Ibraham was very tired and weak. All he had left was the family honor. His youngest daughter, Nada, had tasted freedom and “brought dishonor and shame” to the family. He brutally killed her for the sake of the family honor. During a subsequent confrontation with, his youngest son, Ishmael, Ibraham dies of a massive heart attack.

After days of abject grief, Ishmael, asks his employer, Dr. Mudhil, an old and wise Muslim (pages 563-564):

 “Why? Why, I whispered, “why.”

“You were three beautiful people who loved each other fiercely. But you were born into a culture which has no place for such love to express itself. We are accursed among all living creatures.”

“What is to become of us all?” I said, as much a groan as a question.

He was silent for ever so long. I watched the outline of his shadow swaying, moaning.

“You must tell me, Dr. Mudhil.”

“I shall tell you,” he said softly, in agony. “We do not have leave to love one another and we have long ago lost the ability. It was so written twelve hundred years earlier. Hate is our over-powering legacy and we have regenerated ourselves by hatred from decade to decade, generation to generation, century to century. The return of the Jews has unleashed that hatred, exploding wildly, aimlessly, into a massive force of self-destruction. In ten, twenty, thirty years the world of Islam will begin to consume itself in madness. We cannot live with ourselves . . . we never have. We cannot live with or accommodate the outside world . . . we never have. We are incapable of change. The devil who makes us crazy is now devouring us. We cannot stop ourselves. And if we are not stopped we will march, with the rest of the world, to the Day of the Burning. What we are now witnessing, Ishmael, now, is the beginning of Armageddon.”

“It is only fiction,” some dreamer or apologist or Secular Fundamentalist or Code Pinker might say. Here is my testimony. In the last six years, I have read extensively, more than 20 books, on Islam. I have read at least four borrowed from my library. Here, in no particular order, are several titles I own:

  • Willful Blindness, Andrew C. McCarthy
  • The Force of Reason, Oriana Fallaci
  • The Sword of the Prophet, Serge Trifkovic
  • The Iranian Time Bomb, Michael A. Ledeen
  • The Looming Tower, Lawrence Wright
  • The High Cost of Peace, Yossef Bodansky
  • World War IV, Norman Podhoretz
  • America Alone, Mark Steyn
  • A God Who Hates, Wafa Sultan
  • Son of Hamas, Mosab Hassan Yousef
  • Muslim Mafia, P. David Gaubatz and Paul Sperry
  • The Grand Jihad, Andrew C. McCarthy
  • The Post-American Presidency, Pamela Geller with Robert Spencer
  • Stealth Jihad, Robert Spencer
  • Religion of Peace? Why Christianity Is and Islam Isn’t, Robert Spencer
  • The Complete Infidel’s Guide to the Koran, Robert Spencer

It is Islam itself, not simply the terrorists or the extremists that cannot exist with freedom. A few days after 911, a television host asked Franklin Graham, “Dr. Graham, what is the difference between Islam and Christianity?” Graham’s said, “The god of Islam asks you to send your son to die for him; the God of Christianity sent His Son to die for you.” Because Islam is the opposite of Liberty, Muslim governments must be some form of tyranny. Shariah law is a system of ordered tyranny.  Until Muslims are converted to Christianity, Muslim countries must be tyrannies. To expect democracy to find soil to root and grow in Islam is futile and, frankly, stupid. Democracy cannot produce Liberty and human rights. Democracy must be born in Liberty.

There is not and will not be an attractive Muslim government. *I firmly believe Egypt must remain under the control of Mubarak until he can turn the government over to another sane, if ruthless, strongman. The Army is a required component of a stable Egypt. For the sake of the people of Egypt, the Middle East and the World, the Muslim Brotherhood must not gain control of Egypt.

*Obviously Hosni Mubarak did not hold power two more weeks.

UNABLE TO FACE REALITY—IS AMERICA ABOUT TO BE DESTROYED?

Today’s Washington Times headline: Bombing motive now big question

Mindboggling! But this is in line with President Obama, most in Congress and virtually all in news media across the board.

John Hinderaker asked yesterday, “Why does evil make liberals stupid?” From dozens available, Hinderaker offered this example:

“This piece in The Atlantic is a good exemplar of the mushy liberal commentary that has proliferated in recent days. Authored by one Megan Garber, it is titled: “’The Boston Bombers Were Muslim: So?’” . . . .

Here is what we know — or what we think we know — about Tamerlan Tsarnaev: He was a boxer and a “gifted athlete.” He did not smoke or drink — “God said no alcohol” — and didn’t take his shirt off in public “so girls don’t get bad ideas.” He was “very religious.” He had a girlfriend who was half-Portuguese and half-Italian. In 2009, he was arrested after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. He was “a nice guy.” He was also a “cocky guy.” He was also a “a normal guy.” He loved the movie Borat. He wanted to become an engineer, but his first love was music: He studied it in school, playing the piano and the violin. . . .”

Hinderaker advised “The Atlantic not to put away that headline.”

It could come in handy so often. “The Cole Bombers Were Muslim: So?” “The Embassy Bombers Were Muslim: So?” “The First World Trade Center Bombers Were Muslim: So?” “The September 11 Bombers Were Muslim: So?” “The Madrid Bombers Were Muslim: So?” “The London Bombers Were Muslim: So?” “The Shoebomber Was Muslim: So?” The Underwear Bomber Was Muslim: So?” “The Fort Hood Shooter Was Muslim: So?” “The Beslan Child-Murderers Were Muslim: So?” “The Times Square Bomber Was Muslim: So?” Read the rest.

What about President Obama who has closed the White House to citizens and is closing flight control towers at airports (because of rascally Republicans)? He committed the full resources of the Federal Government to find out “whatever hateful agenda” could have possibly “driven” the Tsarnaev brothers to “such heinous acts.”

I have found no outrage about this disgusting example of a human being Americans have put in the Presidency, from any politician in Washington or elsewhere. Worse, none seem on hand to condemn Islamic Jihad. For that matter neither has America’s Christian leaders. While dozens, from Rick Warren to Billy Graham Evangelistic, have called for prayers for the victims, none have condemned jihad. To be kind, let me simply say, disgusting.

How can America fight this war if we cannot even acknowledge an ancient enemy and new terms of war?

Ancient enemy? Yes. Islam has been the enemy since jihad began in 622. The world has now seen1891 years of jihad. You will remember America’s first war as an independent country was against the Jihadists of the time in the Mediterranean, the Barbary States. The evidence is compelling that the creation of the Muslim Brotherhood in 1928 marked the beginning of a worldwide Jihad. The pitiful and shameful response by Americans across the board indicates that the Muslim Brotherhood, and their American branches such as the Council on American Islamic Relations, only has to keep the rope tight for a handful of years. American Liberty and its Christian roots will quickly fade from historic memory.

On the other hand, there is Jesus—and the few who stand against this scourge, like me. One example is Stella Paul who just wrote, I Saw Something, So I’m Saying Something.

Are you fed up with the antiseptic slogan, “If you see something, say something?”

The authorities expect us to report suspicious backpacks, but stay silent as the tomb about the nature of the men who put them there.

We’re instructed to speak up about a bloodied man’s movement under a boat tarp, but to shut up about the ideological movement that drove him to commit his carnage.

Well, as it happens, I’ve seen quite a lot of things over the last few years that I’d like to say something about — enough things to break a heart and to kill a country.

And after the Boston Massacre committed by two immigrant jihadis, I’m going to say them.

Read it. It’ll to motivate you into action!

Of course there are the courageous David Horowitz and the Freedom Center, Pamela Geller, and Robert Spencer. There is Frank Gaffney, Andrew C. McCarthy and a handful of others. Israel, America, Judaism and Christianity owe them all.

We will not forget Steve Emerson who has released a new documentary, Jihad in America: The Grand Deception. Watch this 7 minute introduction:

Be part of the lonely few and make a difference. Order it now. Show it before it is too late. Thank you and God bless you.
