HONORING DR. KING: THE 2013 MARCH FOR FREEDOM AND JUSTICE

O.K I lied to you. I didn’t think you’d check out the truthful headline which is:

August 28, 2013 The Racist Sexist Party of Theft and Death—the Democrat Party—Mischaracterized and Misrepresented America, Dr. Martin Luther King and the I Have A Dream Vision.

The entire event was an operation completely controlled by the Democrat Party. Actually the principle organizer and controller was the NAACP which is simply another face for the racist sexist GLBT union thug party of theft and death. You may know the NAACP is not for expanding opportunity for black Americans.

Like the Democrat Party the NAACP is racist. Everything they do promotes the welfare and “un-education” trap that hold so many people of color while filling their own coffers with money and privilege. Like the Democrat Party, the NAACP empowers union thugs. In the 1990s they solved their chronic financial problems by promoting the thug union line. They were also on board with feminism and everything it does to destroy women and families. In this century they solidly support and promote the GLBT agenda and took their place on the radical leading edge of the Democrat Party.

The agenda Wednesday in front of a small crowd—perhaps 20,000—on the National mall

Transformed America

was the opposite of Dr. King’s vision. It was a replica of the Marxist 2013 Democrat platform. It was very big on GLBT; especially the perversion of marriage. It was big on taxpayer funded abortion and birth control. It was against educational vouchers for poor black—or any—children. (Thug union agenda ya know.) A recurring theme was their outrage against the voter ID laws that, like North Carolina, so many states are passing. In the belief of the rally speakers Wednesday, black (and Latino) people are so incapable that they are unable to get a photo ID to vote. No one explained haw they possibly do get cigarettes, liquor or into the DNC Convention. We all know the truth. Voter ID laws prevent the fraudulent election stealing that is essential for the Democrat Party.

Republicans were not invited.

No republican was invited to speak. No conservative voice was allowed to be heard—no Libertarian either.

Not invited.1

  • Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas who has served on the high court with distinction for 22 years was not invited.
  • Colin Powell, the first black man to serve as Secretary of State was not invited.
  • Condoleezza Rice, the first black woman to serve as Secretary of State was not there. Rice, whose father was a pastor in Birmingham, experienced the September 15, 1963 church bombing that killed four little black girls. Of course Dr. Rice knew the girls. One was her close friend. But she was not invited to speak.
  • The Congress of Racial Equality, one of the six organizations that sponsored the 1963 March on Washington, was not invited; the National Chairman, Roy Innis, was not invited to speak.
  • The distinguished and Internationally Renowned economist and political philosopher, author of 40 books, Thomas Sowell, was not invited.
  • Eminent Scholar (Economics) at George mason University, Walter E. Williams, was not invited.
  • The world renowned Johns Hopkins neurosurgeon (ret) and Nationally sought after author and speaker Dr. Ben Carson was not invited.
  • Republican Senator Tim Scott was elected to the United States House of Representatives in 2010 from South Carolina’s First Congressional District. The Gerrymandered South Carolina Sixth District is predominantly black and sends the “sold out” James Clyburn to Congress every election. The South Carolina First district has a white majority that voted overwhelmingly for Scott. Anyone who examined the 2013 political reality in South Carolina would conclude that the political objectives of Dr. King’s dream have been realized. Senator Scott, the only black serving in the United States Senate, was not invited to speak.

Fifty years after his great vision for America Martin Luther King Jr., like so many these past five years, was thrown under the bus Wednesday.

IOWA DEMOCRATS PRAY TO THE GOD OF DEATH

Iowa Democrat gubernatorial candidates Tyler Olson and Jack Hatch joined abortion activists in prayer Wednesday. The woman leading the prayer didn’t specify the god to whom she directed her appeal. We can conclude with confidence it was not the God of life. What a political party—everything from abortion to racism and redistribution. Here is the “prayer:”

Let us pray to the God of life for their repentance and redemption.

DR. KING: 50 YEARS LATER THERE IS NO UNITY; THERE IS NO DREAM; THERE IS ONLY INTENTIONAL DIVISION

He came to Montgomery, AL in 1955 to defend Rosa Parks by effectively leading a boycott of the Buses.

He had been in Jail before—in Atlanta in 1960, for example.

1963 would be a providentially pivotal year. Dr. King went to Birmingham, AL in April where he was arrested and jailed for a (specifically peaceful) march. Twelve prominent white pastors published a newspaper article decrying Dr. Kings timing and tactics. Learning about their argument, King wrote them a 7000 word letter defending the cause, tactics and timing. Parts of it were soon published titled, A Letter From A Birmingham Jail. It was a big time game changer.

This last paragraph is a fair representation:

“I hope this letter finds you strong in the faith. I also hope that circumstances will soon make it possible for me to meet each of you, not as an integrationist or a civil rights leader, but as a fellow clergyman and a Christian brother. Let us all hope that the dark clouds of racial prejudice will soon pass away and the deep fog of misunderstanding will be lifted from our fear-drenched communities and in some not too distant tomorrow the radiant stars of love and brotherhood will shine over our great nation with all their scintillating beauty.

Yours for the cause of Peace and Brotherhood,

Martin Luther King, Jr.”

© Estate of Martin Luther King, Jr.

You can read it here.

A profoundly effective and righteous leader of the NAACP in Mississippi, Medgar Evers, who was clearly as important as Dr. King and seemed to have a similar destiny, was murdered—assassinated—June 12, just two and a half months before the march on Washington August 28—and King’s I Have A Dream speech.

Some 250,000 people went to Washington from across America to take their place in a great movement to gain equality of freedom and justice in America without regard to race. There were other speakers. They have been forgotten. Dr. King’s speech was a history changer. It challenged the American establishment in a manner that would be effective still today. It challenged black (Negro) Americans to find their freedom and justice on the high road. It encouraged white—no all—Americans to join in Christian brotherhood.

Mall.8.28.1963

This speech began like so many others then quickly it lurched into something special and profound for America (and all of mankind):

MLK. August 28, 1963

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languishing in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. So we have come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

Midway, Dr. King said:

“But there is something that I must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force. The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. They have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone.”

And the great memorable finish that has been so forgotten these last 5 years:

I say to you today, my friends, so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal.”

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification; one day right there in Alabama, little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

This is our hope. This is the faith that I go back to the South with. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

This will be the day when all of God’s children will be able to sing with a new meaning, “My country, ’tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim’s pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring.”

And if America is to be a great nation this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York. Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!

Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado!

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California!

But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia!

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee!

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, “Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!”

The Entire speech is here: This video is the complete speech. Be inspired and filled with hope:

But 5 years later Dr. King was on this earth no more. Those who followed turned from unity to division, from demanding God given freedom and Justice to a big time hustle

Clyburn

for themselves and a cheap stipend for the masses of black Americans. Lyndon Johnson delivered a stipend but the accusations and hustle never ends. South Carolina Congressman James Clyburn is an example, who, like me, was a young school teacher in 1963. Clyburn was in that crowd in Washington that day. The future Congressman heard—no experienced—those transcendent words. But he turned to a life of hustle for perks, like a government car, that come from going along with the likes of Nancy Pelosi and President Obama—transforming the abundance of freedom to the poverty of redistribution.

Ben Jealous

Decades ago the NAACP turned away from Dr. King’s dream and the hope of the martyred Medgar Evers and raced towards Marxist redistribution. The current NAACP President, Ben Jealous, is perfectly suited for the politics of racial division and strife. He can seem so reasonable as he accuses you and most Americans of racism. The 2013 NAACP convention coincided with the not guilty verdict of George Zimmerman. The gathering was a wall to wall, morning to night three day festival of division. There can be no doubt the tone was set by the two who launched this present division of America by race in February, 2009—President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder.

No 1.No 2

Of course money and power can be achieved from race hustling with business as easily as government corruption. There are many successfully in the race business today but it is sufficient to feature the only two real icons:

Jesse.Al

Dr. Martin Luther King said, “So we have come to cash this check — a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.” Like today’s NAACP and today’s Congressional Black Caucus, he saw the Negro with a government check. But, unlike all of them and their minions who stick their hands in your pockets, he saw that freedom of opportunity and justice is the promise of America.

He cautioned the blacks who saw promise they had waited so long for with this warning, “In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.”

Not the least of Dr. King’s dreams was “that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” This child who bears his name is not interested in character but only skin color:

MLK III, Race not Character

These and so many others have betrayed the dream of Dr. King. But America is blessed with so many of its black citizens, like Justice Clarence Thomas, who have moved past race. They are rising with all Patriots to save and restore the American Constitution, limited government, and the free market system. That story will be told on other days ahead.

NEW MEXICO—NOT MINNESOTA—MAY QUALIFY AS THE LAUGHINGSTOCK OF AMERICA

(No fair counting D.C. and the Federal Government)

Compared to someone in another state, we who live in Minnesota rarely feel the superior—the more normal person. The New Mexico Constitution and Supreme Court can give we Minnesotans a normal feeling a bit more often—a couple of doozies in one week.

Christians are now “compelled by law to compromise the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives.”

The court ruled Christians in New Mexico do not have the right to operate a business as Christians. In 2006, Elane Photography owners, Elaine and Jonathan Huguenin, declined the business of Vanessa Willock for her “commitment ceremony” with her lesbian lover explaining their Christian beliefs would prevent them from photographing such a ceremony.

Presumably other things Christian photographers would decline to film would include pornography, actual abortions, cruelty to animals, an Islamist stoning or beheading or a Miley Cyrus event—you get the picture.

While Willock found another photographer, at an actual savings, she filed a complaint with the New Mexico Human Rights Commission accusing Elane Photography and the Huguenins of discrimination based on sexual orientation. Willock won the complaint. The matter worked its way through the New Mexico Judicial system and last week the New Mexico Supreme Court ruled.

Gay Kermit

“The Huguenins today can no more turn away customers on the basis of their sexual orientation – photographing a same-sex marriage ceremony – than they could refuse to photograph African-Americans or Muslims,” Justice Richard Bosson wrote in the court’s unanimous decision. Bosson said the Christian photographers are now “compelled by law to compromise the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives.”

For a third time, Christians are now “compelled by law to compromise the very religious beliefs that inspire their lives.”

My Take

HD.Alice.TPT graphic

This is simply one of thousands of examples of relativism roaming free in the American culture. And Christianity, not really built for defense, is in full retreat. Lewis Carroll revealed it perfectly when Humpty Dumpty said to Alice,

‘There’s glory for you!’ ‘I don’t know what you mean by “glory,”‘ Alice said. Humpty Dumpty smiled contemptuously. ‘Of course you don’t—till I tell you. I meant “there’s a nice knock-down argument for you!”‘ ‘But “glory” doesn’t mean “a nice knock-down argument,”‘ Alice objected. ‘When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.’

‘The question is,’ said Alice, ‘whether you CAN make words mean so many different things.’ ‘The question is,’ said Humpty Dumpty, ‘which is to be master—that’s all.’

But Christian businesses are handling the challenge incorrectly. Playing offense is clearly the better choice. (Let’s use photography in an example.) In the presentation of the business they should neither hide nor flaunt their Christianity. When asked to provide their services for one of these parties, they should accept, striking a sound business deal. They should arrive at the event in a business vehicle fitted with prominent signage such as “Jesus saves.” Their equipment and materials must clearly reflect the good news for sinners. The photographic proofs should have clearly present but discrete references to our Christian God and the glory that is in Him. If a client insists on an image of something obnoxious, the proof should always be flawed.

Now, as a business consultant, I would not recommend the above course of action until I had thought it through in the specific situation. I do know we as Christians should be playing offense. We can win.

The New Mexico Supreme Court was on a roll.

E pluribus unum is the de facto motto of the United States of America (In God We Trust is the official motto.) E pluribus unim in New Mexico? Not so much.

This time the Court’s hands were tied by the State Constitution. Unlike Federal Courts, the New Mexico Supreme Court, at least in this case, followed the New Mexico Constitution which provides that citizens who speak Spanish have the same rights in court as citizens who speak English. (A juror who speaks only Spanish may not be dismissed for that cause.)

I understand the New Mexico Constitution does provide for equality between English and Spanish (Mexican version) but here is my take.

The American Indians

The writers of the New Mexico Constitution provided for brown Mexicans and white or black Americans but what about the Indians? There are 22 Indian tribes in New Mexico. There is the Navajo Nation. The Apache Nation has two tribes, the Jicarilla and the Mescalero. These are the nineteen tribes in the Pueblo Nation: Acoma, Taos, Santa Clara, San Ildefonso, Tesuque, San Felipe, Jemez, Zuni, Zia, Nambe, Picuris, Ohkay Owingeh, Santo Domingo, Laguna, Isleta, Santa Ana, Sandia, Cochiti, and Pojoaque. It looks as though the white and black Americans and the brown Mexicans were and remain to this day jointly racist towards the 22 more native tribes of New Mexico.

For Mexicans, how long is enough?

This New Mexico Constitution was adopted in 1912. It would seem Mexicans had over 60 years to learn English. Of course back 150 years ago, we didn’t have English as a Second Language University discipline or text. So, perhaps I’m a bit hard on the New Mexico Mexicans. Perhaps I have a bias.

Follow the story of my father’s family. My father was born in 1901; 50 years after New Mexico became a U.S. Territory. When he started school in 1907, my dad could speak two languages neither was English His parents were recent immigrants; his mother came from Norway and his father from Sweden.

Dad (who could speak Norwegian and Swedish) was one of 5 first graders—none of them could speak English. The school was one room with 37 pupils in 8 grades. There was one teacher whose teaching education was one 9 month term at “Normal School.” My father, like the other four first graders, could speak and understand English by the spring. Older children were learning the parts of speech, diagramming sentences, spelling, composition and more.

For many years I have denigrated the graduate degree teachers of “English as a second language” as simply lost souls who had no clue what a marvelous instrument the human brain is and no understanding of a child’s capacity to learn.

Or I argued that these do-gooders looked down at Americans of Mexican (and of certain other Latin-American descent) as just incapable of learning anything as complicated as English. But maybe they are right and I am wrong. Perhaps after more than 160 years, Mexicans simply cannot learn English.

MORE THAN 100 MILLION CHRISTIANS PERSECUTED BY THE RELIGION OF PEACE

Silence from President Obama and the U. S. Government

January 3, 2011, Islamophobia Today posted this statement supporting the Religion of Peace (ROP). JEDDAH: Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah Aal Al-Sheikh, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, issued a statement Sunday condemning the attack on the church in Alexandria, Egypt, describing it as a “criminal act” and has no relation to Islam.

It has been months since the same “tolerant” Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz Bin Abdullah of the same ROP issued his fatwa against Christians, “It is necessary to destroy all churches in the region.” No word about it from Islamophobia Today. Like the Western press, the Islam supporting President Obama and his Christian persecuting government were equally silent. But within Islam, the fatwa against Christians got around—and terror, death and destruction fell on Christians in Muslim dominated countries.

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt needed no Saudi marching orders. Their attacks against Christians and churches have increased until it reached a crescendo August 14. Coptic World counted 53 MB attacks against churches and Christian groups that one day. Fifty three!

Actually no Muslim anywhere heeded the Saudi fatwa. TheReligionofPeace.com has kept a running tally of reported Muslim attacks against Christians since September 11, 2001. This June they recorded a relatively peaceful month, noting 12 attacks in 8 countries killing 9 and wounding 30. They don’t try to tally rapes. Even though they miss so much, this is a valuable list because in records the steady drumbeat of Islamic violence and evil—page after page after page, month after month, year after year.

But the ReligionofPeace.com admittedly misses violence—the fact is they miss alot. They had a big miss just this June in Iraq. 140 Christians were killed and at least 13 Christian women were abducted and raped. Violence against Christians and churches in Iraq dates back to June 2004 when a church was ransacked and burned in Bagdad. More than 70 have been burned since.

Apart from the Arab world, Christians deal with Islamic attacks frequently in India, Philippines and Indonesia. Other religious sects are attacked regularly as well in India. Indonesia is often represented as an example of “Muslim moderation.” In fact, Indonesia has had frequent deadly attacks on Christians for years.

100-200 million Christians persecuted by Islam

“Few people realize that we are today living through the largest persecution of Christians in history. Estimates of the numbers of Christians under assault range from 100-200 million. According to one estimate, a Christian is martyred every five minutes. Most of this persecution is taking place at the hands of Muslims.”

Crucified Again

I just ordered Raymond Ibrahim’s Crucified Again. Ibrahim is a Shillman Fellow at the irreplaceable David Horowitz Freedom Center and an associate fellow of the Middle East Forum. “What he documents in this meticulously researched and clearly argued book is a human rights disaster of monumental proportions.” Fluent in Arabic, he has been tracking what he calls “one of the most dramatic stories” of our time in the reports and witnesses that appear in Arabic newspapers, news shows, and websites, but that rarely get translated into English or picked up by the Western press.

But Canada Free Press just published a piece Sunday by Bruce Thornton on Ibriham’s work with the above shocking revelations. In Iraq half of the Christians have fled.

Bagdad.10.2010

In 2010, A notable example, Our Lady of Salvation Church in Baghdad was bombed during mass, with fifty-eight killed and hundreds wounded. See photo records of the carnage here and here. Even if you order Crucified Again you will want to check out these links and read Thornton’s piece at the Canada Free Press.

PRESIDENT HILLARY? AFTER THIS TRUTH ABOUT BENGHAZI—MAYBE NOT

To begin make no mistake Mrs. Clinton cannot be held accountable or responsible for keeping the fact hidden that President Obama’s pal, Egyptian President (former as of now), Mohammed Mursi, sent Egyptian fighters to help attack the American compound September 11, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya.

Egyptians sent by Mursi as part of the terrorist attack in Benghazi?

Oh, you hadn’t heard.

Of course you hadn’t. It was never reported in the American media. And this post is a mere warm-up on Mrs. Clinton. What you are about to learn can only be the responsibility of President Obama. But, if the crack CIA and NSA that at least have every American covered are as good when it comes to America’s enemies, Obama and Mrs. Clinton likely knew no later than September 13. So Mrs Clinton, with the reminder that we will shadow you with Benghazi until November 8, 2016, you can run along while we focus on:

President Obama’s “Mursi in Benghazi Scandal”

To begin, this smart phone live video, in Arabic, of the Attack on America went up hours after the attack which ended in the early morning of September 12, 2012:

Here is a sample of the explanation in Arabic.

Arabic video copy.9.12.2012

Or get the whole picture at the You Tube Site.

David Horowitz

Aside from classified reports, the first known English language revelation of Mursi in Libya and Benghazi September 11, 2012, is Cynthia Farahat, an Egyptian political activist, writer, researcher and Associate Fellow at the Middle East Forum, published in David Horowitz’ FRONTPAGE MAG three months ago. (As I write this, I wonder if Ms. Farahat is still alive. She is!) Get her story here.

Walid Shoebat

Just a month ago Walid Shoebat, former Muslim Brotherhood Jihadist and now “peace activist,” wrote:

A Libyan intelligence document has been produced that directly implicates Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood president Mohammed Mursi in the attacks on American installations in Benghazi on 9/11/12. Those who attempt to discredit this document run into trouble when it is coupled with real-time video we uncovered on 9/13/12. In that video, gunmen at the scene of the attack can be heard declaring that they were sent by Mursi.

After weeks of attempting to push the narrative that a video was responsible, the Obama administration ultimately had to concede that the attacks in Benghazi were terrorist in nature. A few months after 9/11/12, the top lawyer for the Pentagon stated that the war on terror should be waged by “law enforcement and intelligence agencies”.

Based on the Obama administration’s standard, the Benghazi attacks should be treated as a crime instead of as an act of war. Therefore, let us bring forth the evidence, which implicates the leader of a nation state (Egypt) in the attack and warrants a grand jury (House of Representatives) investigation to decide if administration officials should be indicted (impeached).

Since we’re deciding who to indict, we must look at evidence of involvement in the attack. Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood President — Mohammed Mursi — is a good place to start. Our first two exhibits are both damning but when taken together, may just constitute a ‘smoking gun’. EXHIBIT A is a video shot from a cell phone at the scene of the attacks. In this video, gunmen are seen running toward the camera, toward other gunmen. At one point — in Arabic which we have confirmed — one approaching gunman says, “Don’t Shoot us! We were sent by Mursi!”. Even though the video is in Arabic, you can discern the word “Mursi”.

A Libyan Intelligence document (EXHIBIT B) has now been brought forward by credible Arabic translator Raymond Ibrahim. This document discusses the confessions of six members of an Egyptian Ansar al-Sharia cell who were arrested and found to be involved in the Benghazi attacks. Ibrahim reported the following about this document:

It discusses the preliminary findings of the investigation, specifically concerning an “Egyptian cell” which was involved in the consulate attack. “Based on confessions derived from some of those arrested at the scene” six people, “all of them Egyptians” from the jihad group Ansar al-Sharia (“Supporters of Islamic Law), were arrested.

According to the report, during interrogations, these Egyptian jihadi cell members “confessed to very serious and important information concerning the financial sources of the group and the planners of the event and the storming and burning of the U.S. consulate in Benghazi…. And among the more prominent figures whose names were mentioned by cell members during confessions were: Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi…

I am becoming a fan of Cynthia Farahat published just a week ago. She takes on the evil that was foisted on Egypt by American policy, President Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood with equal fervor. Read this post from just a week ago:

Egyptian Anti-Terror & Counterpropaganda Riot on Obama’s Facebook Page!

Cynthia Farahat

Where was the MSM when Egyptians went on the largest anti-terrorism rally in the history of the world last July 26th? When millions of peaceful protestors took the streets to publicly announce to the world that they authorize the military and police to fight Muslim Brotherhood (MB) terrorists and their al-Qaeda operatives?

I’m certainly not surprised that the Obama regime is siding with the MB and al-Qaeda militants that have declared total war on Egypt, as I reported last July, where MB terrorists stated that they will burn Christians alive, set Egypt on fire, and kill military officials, as MSM and this administration shamelessly calls the murders with automatic rifles and machetes, “demonstrators!”

While al-Qaeda and MB terrorists are currently fulfilling their promises of mass murder and pyromania in the greatest wave of pre-planned organized terror in the history of Egypt, that has been ongoing since Morsi’s installation in power and intensified in the past fifty days reaching its peak on August 14th, only few Western media outlets support Egypt’s lonely war on MB terrorists, but I will be discussing this in a different post.

Egypt anti-terror-rally.7.26.2013

But now here are some interesting developments and facts that the detached statist Soviet-style propaganda machine fails to comprehend: Egyptians ousted two presidents in two years, thus, they no longer tolerate tyranny, disinformation, third-world propaganda, terror and fascism, after they broke the silence of sixty years of horrific oppression and segregation.

And since the anti-terror protest were ignored, it has moved to Barack Obama’s official Facebook page, where thousands of Egyptians flood the comment section with in a massive counterpropaganda campaign that repudiates his support for MB terrorist and al-Qaeda affiliates, sometime in disagreeable and angry comments! How about that for a “New Beginning?”

53 FACTS IN ONE DAY FROM ONE COUNTRY FOR THE MILLION MUSLIM MARCH TO FACE

Update: 7:00 A.M. CST, Friday, 8/16/2013: The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt Called for “a day of rage” after afternoon “prayers.” Tells you all you need to know about the Religion of Peace.

A “Million Muslim March” on Washington has been scheduled for September 11 (911) this year by the American Muslim Political Action Committee (AMPAC) which is led by M.D. Rabbi Alam, a self-proclaimed 9/11 “truther” who believes that Jews are somehow behind the plot. The view AMPAC is pushing is that 1.5 billion peaceful Muslims are victims.

M.D. Rabbi Alam appeared on Hannity last night but did not comment on the violent and explosive events in Egypt where Christians across the Country are being terrorized by the Muslim Brotherhood. This church is one of the 53 churches and Christian organizations terrorized Wednesday in Egypt:

Church burning

Coptic World has chronicled every one of the Islamist terrorist acts. Here is the full report:

CopticWorld regrets to inform you that today has been very destructive for Coptic Christians in Egypt. We are attempting to document all the destruction. These churches and institutions were destroyed Aug. 14, 2013 [by the Muslim Brotherhood]

THE LIBERTY AMENDMENTS—A PLAN TO SAVE AMERICA

Mark Levin’s new book The Liberty Amendments, Restoring the American Republic was released for sale Monday. It became #1 on the Amazon.com best seller list that same day.

The Liberty Amendments

If you do not know Mark Levin, you can learn about him here and here and here.

In The Liberty Amendments, Levin proposes to save (restore) our Constitution—our American experiment—by Amending the Constitution itself—Eleven Times. This would be an amending process initiated by States as prescribed in Article V. We have had the Bill of (10) Rights and 17 more amendments to the Constitution in the nearly 225 years of our United States of America government. All were initiated by the Congress. They can also be initiated by the States. Here is the complete text:

Article. V.

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.

Levin, a brilliant legal constitutional scholar, believes we now live in a post-Constitutional America; that there is no Constitutional way to save America other than the course he carefully outlines in The Liberty Amendments.

Joel Pollak, in a Breitbart News review characterized Levin’s roadmap for restoration this way: (the book is) “a well-written, fluent and smooth read, elegant in its interweaving of history, its scholarship, and its passionate argument that while the amendment process may be long, the time to start is now.”

These Levin amendments may not be the exact result we (in ¾ of States) produce. This is not a question of whether this is the right proposal to get started—it is the only serious proposal we have. You’ll want to get a copy right away. In the mean time learn a bit more in this Monday night interview with Hannity:

Joel Pollak also interviewed Mr. Levin for Breitbart News. You will find the interview compelling. Here it is:

Breitbart News: With The Liberty Amendments, you’re attempting to launch a movement to amend the Constitution. Do you expect to be successful, and how long would it take?

Levin: What I hope to do, at least in some small way, is begin a discussion among those of us who believe the Republic is unraveling, and find a way to re-establish the Constitution and reclaim our heritage.  When you look at the massive debt and reckless monetary policies of the federal government; the ability of five Supreme Court justices to pervert the Constitution and impose via fiat their personal policy preferences on the whole of society without any recourse; Congress’s legislating, through massive bills, outside its enumerated powers and its delegation of unchecked power to a massive and growing bureaucracy, which legislates thousands of times each year by regulatory fiat; and the increasing authoritarianism of presidents who issue executive orders to create their own law and also blatantly rewrite statutes by interpretation and execution (or not) based on whether they agree with them or not; I think this and much more evinces the growing and steady decline of constitutional republicanism.

And I’ve concluded that Washington is incapable of reforming itself, which should seem fairly obvious. After all, it has designed the federal Leviathan, which is getting bigger and more aggressive.  And I was thinking: What has this federal government become? It is not a constitutional, federal, or representative republic, as our Framers understood those institutions. I believe the federal government is increasingly operating outside the Constitution and that we are in a post-constitutional period. This is how justices, presidents, and members of Congress are able to concoct and then impose such monstrous laws as Obamacare and Dodd-Frank, among thousands of other laws and rules every year, on an unwitting population.

This book is written for those of us who fear what is happening to our nation–the increasing authoritarianism and abuse of the individual–and refuse to accept these events either by pretending they are not serious or as the inevitable decline of a great republic. This has been building for decades, since at least the advent of the Progressive era, and, in my view, requires a resolute, decades’-long effort to reverse course. So, the question arises, what do we do? For those of us who care, my book explores some of the possibilities. And they are provided in the Constitution itself.

The Framers knew better than others what it was like to confront actual tyranny. So why wouldn’t we look to these greatest men for answers? So, that’s what I did. If you look at Article V of the Constitution, it includes, among other things, two processes for amending the Constitution. The first process has resulted in twenty-seven amendments: two-thirds of both Houses of Congress propose an amendment, and three-fourths of the states are required to ratify it. In the second process, which is every bit as legitimate, two-thirds of the states decide to convene a meeting for the purpose of proposing amendments, which are then sent to the states for three-fourths ratification. It is a process that essentially bypasses Congress.  Let me be as clear as I can: this second amendment process provides for a convention of the states to propose amendments, which in turn must be ratified by three-fourths of the states; it does not provide for a Constitutional Convention. Furthermore, because three-fourths of the states must ratify proposed amendments, there would be no “runaway convention” overturning the entire Constitution, as some might fear monger. I fully expect the most vociferous critics of this constitutional process to be among those who support or have contributed to all manner of constitutional evasions and distortions in favor of the increasing centralization and concentration of power, which is precisely what the Constitution was established to prevent.

Now, this is something I want to discuss at length on my program, and which I discuss at length in the book.  I believe our strongest weapon is the Constitution, and therefore we should do all we can to reacquaint the American people with their Constitution. This is how we push back against a mindset that insists they surrender so much of their liberty to federal institutions; it is a mindset pounded home each and everyday by self-serving politicians, in academia, by the media, et cetera. Alexis de Tocqueville, and many others, eloquently warned about democracies acquiescing to the gradualism of soft tyranny and its destructiveness on man’s nature.

The amendment process of which I speak was proposed and enacted by the Framers, who considered it crucial to accomplishing the ratification of the Constitution, for it was specifically established to address the possibility of an oppressive federal government. In particular, George Mason insisted two days before the Constitutional Convention’s end that there needed to be a lawful and civil way to address an oppressive federal government, which he believed inevitable, short of violence and revolution. The Convention delegates in Philadelphia agreed. Thus, the Constitution provides that at least two-thirds of the states could ultimately get together, essentially bypassing Congress, and propose amendments to the Constitution which, in turn, all the states would then consider, three-fourths of which would be required to ratify them. This is no easy task. But it is the path the Framers provided in the Constitution to lawfully and civilly address an increasingly oppressive federal government, which ultimately would not control itself. So, we turn to the Constitution to save the Constitution, and restore the Republic.

As I write in the book, I admit that this is something that, originally, I was skeptical about. But having now thoroughly studied the intent of the Framers in this regard, it is crystal clear they put this process in place to provide us recourse under the kind of circumstances we find ourselves confronted with today. I need to underscore that this is not some radical or novel idea, although it has been largely ignored. It will be ferociously opposed by the proponents or beneficiaries of an all powerful federal government, or dismissed by those who delude themselves that nothing of this sort can happen in America and, as they will undoubtedly claim, Americans are resilient and we have overcome worse. But it is those who seek to further impose this alien design on our society who are the target of this amendment process. Their objections, albeit self-serving, are understandable. As for the others, let me say it is because Americans are resilient that I believe we are not destined for all eternity to suffer a miserable existence, which is precisely why we must take matters into our own hands by embracing the Constitution. It was President Reagan who famously stated: “You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children’s children say of us that we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.”

The book is called The Liberty Amendments for a reason. I have proposed eleven amendments for people to think about, not because I am all-knowing and all-powerful, but because they are my suggestions to encourage people to think about or, even better, to become active in reclaiming their heritage through this state convention process. The amendments I propose are not abstractions, but concrete suggestions, based precisely on what I believe, through research and scholarship, the Framers intended for this republic. I discuss each amendment at length in the book, and it is impossible to do them justice in a short interview. But it is worth remembering, whereas the statists promise a utopian paradise that conflicts with our constitutional order as justification for an ever-growing federal government, and many Republicans embrace the status quo, as designed by the statists– I call them neo-statists–I say let’s enthusiastically embrace the Constitution rather than fear it. Let’s be positive about it. It offers us liberty, opportunity, security. These amendments are all aimed at reclaiming our founding principles by unraveling the federal Leviathan and reducing the excessive and growing power of the ruling class.

Do I think this is doable, and how quickly? Absolutely, or I wouldn’t have written the book. The Framers thought so, because otherwise they wouldn’t have bothered including this process in the Constitution. Will it happen tomorrow? Absolutely not. But I dare say that at some point it will. Because the situation in this country will reach a point, with lost liberties and economic dislocation, that I believe the people will look for a legitimate and non-violent means by which to save themselves. The nation’s demise is not inevitable, unless we do nothing. We can prevent this, if we, the people, have the desire and motivation to do so. People want to know how we can do it. And the only way I can think of–I’m open to others–is by turning to the Constitution and the recourse the Framers left us.

One other point. Look at the statists. They play for keeps, and they are resolute. They never surrender, and they are never done with their social engineering and societal experiments. For example, for a century they have pushed national health care. They finally achieved it with Obamacare. Yet, Obamacare is just a start. It is a platform from which they intend to pursue endless lifestyle calibrations. The individual will be tormented and coerced endlessly. We conservatives, on the other hand, get impatient. We are too quick to abandon the battlefield. We must be as resolute, as defiant, as ambitious for liberty and constitutionalism as the statist is for the opposite. As I said earlier, there is an American spirit, and we must rekindle it and spread it. We need not accept this, we must not. We have children and grandchildren to think about; we must think about future generations, and not just the next two or three. We must encourage people to engage in the Constitution in the way that our Founders intended.

Breitbart News: Let’s get right into the book. I am going to ask you questions about each of your proposals, playing devil’s advocate to some extent, to bring out some of your ideas.

On your first proposal, which provides term limits–isn’t the judgment of the people enough? What if there is a great conservative legislator–wouldn’t you want him or her to remain in Washington?

Levin: For every great one there are twenty-five who are not. Here’s the point. No one Senator, Congressman, or President is going to save the Republic or advance society in some spectacular way. It is the civil society, where people acting in their private lives, involving themselves in voluntary economic and community activities, that is the strength of the nation. The civil society has to be strong if a country is to be strong.

In Egypt, Gaza and these other places, constitutional republicanism doesn’t work and can’t, because they have no civil society. In America today, the problem is that the federal government is devouring the civil society. The result–the redistribution of power from the citizen to the sovereign, and an endless array of rules and regulations involving darn near all that we do.

But the notion that we have to rely on one president or five legislators–that is the problem. We’re not going to find national salvation or reformation in one politician, nor should we. We ought not to [depend on] them to lead us to the Promised Land. Furthermore, in a world of imperfect people, and imperfect institutions, you have to have a system, as the Framers understood, to deal with this. Their system was to diversify power through a matrix of checks and balances, the enumeration of duties and roles, and limitations on central authority vis-a-vis the individual, including in the Bill of Rights. During the early period of the House of Representatives, fifty percent of Representatives served one term. Senators were chosen by state legislators. So, yes, we might lose some great Congressman or Senator, but the rotation of citizens in and out of public office was considered essential to the Framers, and for good reason  As you can see today, we now have a professional ruling class, led by governing masterminds, and an army of bureaucrats, much of which is immune from the voters’ reach. And not just the Framers, but great philosophers on whom they relied, such as Locke and Montesquieu, would reject the notion that a representative republic could co-exist with or survive under an entrenched ruling class exercising enormous power over society.

BREITBART IS NOT DEAD—GET READY FOR TRUTHREVOLT.ORG

A perfect marriage for truth in America is at hand between David Horowitz’s Freedom Center and Breitbart News. This is a perfect introduction on Breitbart.com/Big Journalism:

AndrewHorowitzShapiro

Beginning next month, Breitbart News Editor-At-Large Ben Shapiro will be leading the launch of a new project of the David Horowitz Freedom Center: TruthRevolt.org, an activism program designed to “unmask leftists in the media for who they are, destroy their credibility with the American public, and devastate their funding bases.”

The program is being described as a conservative counterpunch to Media Matters, the Obama-linked organization that focuses on silencing conservatives in the media. “For too long, we’ve played by the Marquess of Queensberry rules, allowing the left to stifle the truth and silence truth tellers in the name of their politically correct narrative. Now we’re taking the battle to their home turf — and we will do so aggressively and unwaveringly, every single day. This is just another avenue for applying Breitbart’s fighting spirit to the battle against those who would destroy what America stands for,” Shapiro said. Shapiro will maintain his position and all of his duties at Breitbart News as well.

One of the founders of the New Left in the 1960s, David Horowitz has become an icon in the conservative movement, famed for his deep understanding of the ideology and strategy of the modern left in America. He has led the Freedom Center since its inception as the Center for the Study of Popular Culture in 1988.

“We could not be more excited to be working with Ben on this project,” Horowitz told Breitbart News. “Andrew Breitbart was a fantastic friend to the Freedom Center and an indispensable warrior in the battle against the anti-America, socialist left and its allies in the universities, the unions and the Democratic Party, and Breitbart News carries on his legacy. We look forward to working with our friends at Breitbart in continuing the fight for America’s future.”

Horowitz and Breitbart worked together on the film Occupy Unmasked, which looked behind the scenes at the institutional left’s control of the Occupy Wall Street movement. Horowitz’s life’s work in exposing the mendacity of the left was a key part of the film. “Occupy Unmasked shows how closely David and Andrew were on their work of exposing and defeating the forces of the institutional left in America. We consider Ben Shapiro’s leading role at ‘Truth Revolt’ to be nothing more than a continuation of that work,” said Stephen K. Bannon, Executive Chairman of Breitbart News.

“Ben Shapiro is a charter member of the Breitbart News ‘Fight Club’ and has been instrumental in the explosive growth the site has experienced over the past 18 months,” said Bannon. “Ben’s ‘voice’ and fighting spirit will also be central in our building out both the site and the company in the years ahead.”

“As was so often the case, Andrew spotted and mentored important conservative voices long before they percolated up to a national level,” said Breitbart News President and CEO Larry Solov. “Ben, who when Andrew met him was a college student at UCLA, is one such voice. Ben has the fight and the intellectual heft to land devastating body blows to the institutional Left and the biased media, which is such a crucial part of what we do here at Breitbart News. We have encouraged Ben to take a leading role with David Horowitz in TruthRevolt to complement his ongoing work at Breitbart News where he will continue to help the grow the company and carry on the fighting spirit and legacy of Andrew Breitbart.”

Shapiro, a mentee and friend of Andrew Breitbart since age 17, became Editor-At-Large of Breitbart News in February 2012. Shapiro, 29, is the New York Times bestselling author of Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences America (2013), as well as Primetime Propaganda: The True Hollywood Story of How the Left Took Over Your TV (2011), Project President: Bad Hair and Botox on the Road to the White House(2008), Porn Generation: How Social Liberalism Is Corrupting Our Future (2005), and Brainwashed: How Universities Indoctrinate America’s Youth (2004). Shapiro began his career as the youngest syndicated columnist in the nation with Creators Syndicate, graduated Harvard Law School at 23, and hosts The Morning Answer on KRLA 870 in Los Angeles.

Shapiro has been widely praised across the conservative movement. Sarah Palin says that Americans should “consider Ben’s advice about how we must stand up and push back twice as hard against this bullying.” Sean Hannity says to join Ben Shapiro and “fight back!” against liberal bullying. Glenn Beck calls Shapiro a “warrior for conservatism, against those who use fear and intimidation to stifle honest debate. I’ve never known him to back down from a fight.” And Michelle Malkin says Shapiro is “infused with the indomitable spirit of his friend and mentor Andrew Breitbart.” Even the liberal Washington Post, in the aftermath of Shapiro’s devastating destruction of Piers Morgan on national television, conceded that Shapiro is a “foe of extraordinary polemical agility.”

THE PENTAGON—CAUGHT FUNNELING MONEY TO THE TALIBAN, AL QAEDA—REFUSES TO STOP

Perhaps you missed it. It was reported last week that the Special Inspector for Afghan Reconstruction John Sopko revealed in a report to Congress that he asked the US Army Suspension and Disbarment office to cancel 43 contracts to known Al Qaeda and Taliban supporters. They refused. The reason? The Suspension and Disbarment Office claims it would violate Al Qaeda and Taliban “due process rights.”

al-CIA-da

Is it really the rights of the Islamists the Pentagon worries about? No. You can be as certain that is a lie as the NSA is not spying on you. (Of course they are both lies.) The reason is because those contracts fill the pockets of American military contracting companies you and I have never heard of—the same modus operandi as the continuing NSA scandal. Before you read the details, read a few important paragraphs from President Eisenhower’s farewell address, January 17, 1961 on this very subject:

My fellow Americans, Three days from now, after half a century in the service of our country, I shall lay down the responsibilities of office as, in traditional and solemn ceremony, the authority of the Presidency is vested in my successor.

This evening I come to you with a message of leave-taking and farewell, and to share a few final thoughts with you, my countrymen. …

… Until the latest of our world conflicts, the United States had no armaments industry. American makers of plowshares could, with time and as required, make swords as well. But now we can no longer risk emergency improvisation of national defense; we have been compelled to create a permanent armaments industry of vast proportions. Added to this, three and a half million men and women are directly engaged in the defense establishment. We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations.

This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.

In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist.

We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals, so that security and liberty may prosper together.

It is outrageous that money going to sworn enemies of America is acceptable to a single American general officer or civilian American at the Pentagon. Like the NSA secret deals, this—there is no other word than scandal—does not normally make the evening news. Every reader who calls members of Congress should consider a call on this essential. You can get the complete story here.

One more thing: Every bit of President Eisenhower’s farewell address is as worthy for our time (mortgaging our children’s future, for example.) as the pull quote above. Please read it now on from time to time throughout your life.
