DARKNESS IN AMERICA? INTO THE ABYSS NOVEMBER 6TH—WHAT DO YOU MEAN?

It is appropriate—necessary to call on Holy Scripture. Today is one of those days for which this scripture passage was given—Isaiah 5:20-21:

20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that count darkness as light, and light as darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

I mean that for one hundred years Progressive men have worked to pull America from the God given light of her birth into the darkness of Marxism. The progress, slow at first, was almost impossible to detect. But Marxist progress has proved to be exponential. By the 1960’s, Progressives were making real progress. The pull towards darkness seemed to slow in the 1980’s. It was an illusion.

We were looking at the U.S. Congress and especially the Federal executive. We missed the courts. We missed the Academy and the taken over of public schools by thug unions. We missed what was changing in the Nations news media. We ignored the popular music, movie and television culture. We ignored the record number of dead babies piling up. We turned our heads as a culture redefined the God given and very good gift of sex into perverse fornication cheapening all of us—especially women—and mocking God.

Freedom, actuated in God, was replaced with harsh rules and divisions called Political Correctness. Soon businesses were operating under this darkness rather than standing in the light. This bending to the will of the evil one had all the momentum by this decade culminating in the election November 6, 2012 when America crossed over into the abyss. Just this past week the San Francisco 49ers (who are playing this very day in the Super Bowl) demonstrated the slide of the great NFL from the integrity of light into the slime of darkness. The 49er statement:

“The San Francisco 49ers reject the comments that were made yesterday, and have addressed the matter with Chris,” the team’s statement said. “There is no place for discrimination within our organization at any level. We have and always will proudly support the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community.”

Do you notice how the slimy dark pronouncements are phrased so cunningly as to appear to America’s new class of ignorant dimwits as if darkness is actually light?

Here is an example of ignorant dimwits: After viewing The Battle Hymn of the Republic as performed by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir at the inauguration ceremony just this past January 21, 2013, a dim bulb in the darkness of this abyss wrote, “I like to think that God in America is Jesus, Alah, Yahweh, the universe, mother earth, your children, or anything else that creates the supreme feeling of love and peace for that person. To me, that is secularism. That is America.”

God help us. Jesus is God! Yahweh is God. Allah is the living Prince of darkness. The rest is a pitiful babble that in the 1940’s might have been thought a strong indicator of insanity. Every instructor of equity and diversity on campi across America to future teachers of our children must be pretty confident the Alinsky rules continue to work.

Where is the Church? Missing. Is there hope? Of course. There is sweet. There is light. There is good. There is Goodness! There are those who do not count themselves wise and prudent in their own sight. They are carriers of the light. If you are reading this, you too are a carrier or potential carrier of the light. Welcome. Come on along!

GET READY FOR SUPER BOWL XLVII SUNDAY—THERE MAY ALSO BE FOOTBALL

If you scheduled your party to start before 9:00 AM Eastern, you’ll be on your own to entertain your guests. From 9 on, however, you’ll have 9½ hours of pregame coverage. That’ll be alot of food but, we’ll get the dos and don’ts of Super Bowl Sunday food later. Let’s start with the cultural context of this game compared to the culture that Vince Lombardi, Tom Landry, Bud Grant and others knew and understood.

The first Super Bowl was played January 15, 1967. The game was actually (the first of four) called the NFL-AFL World Championship. The Green Bay Packers beat the Kansas City Chiefs 35-10. In 1967, the men who were the owners, coaches and players in the NFL, like Lombardi, Landry, and Grant were men—American men. The league (there was no players union) did not have college professors as consultants to tell them what was “hurtful speech” and what was “inclusive.”

Fast forward to our 2013 Super Bowl XLVII between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers Sunday in New Orleans. The League has changed. There are consultants. There are Attorneys. There are public relations firms. If you receive a check from the NFL, your speech is not “free speech,” your speech is “controlled speech.” Some things are in and some things are out.

These players, like their teams and the League, must be “sensitive” and “caring” and “open” and “inclusive;” not “bigoted” and “hateful.” Some politics are “good” and “productive” so the League is “accepting and inclusive.” Other politics are “hurtful” and “mean-spirited” and must be rejected. Like Bob Costas and Hank Williams, Jr.

Good and bad politics

Some performers expand the definition of art while others are merely divisive. Take Madonna and Rush.

Divisive.Art

No doubt the storyline for this Super Bowl is two opposing head coaches who are brothers, John and Jim Harbaugh. This is a terrific American story. But an enterprising radio interviewer uncovered, in what seemed to be a fine, friendly

Chris Culliver

49er cornerback, Chris Culliver, a “hateful,” “hurtful” bigotry. After a former 49er player, Kwame Harris, was charged with felony domestic violence and assault for beating a former boyfriend, Culliver was asked about homosexuality in the locker room. Culliver forgot the speech control rules; answered like, perhaps, Hank Stram, coach of the 1967 Kansas City Chiefs:

“I don’t do the gay guys. I don’t do that,” Culliver told Lange, who had asked the cornerback if he ever had been approached by a homosexual player.

Culliver indicated that a gay player would not be welcome on the 49ers when Lange asked if there were any gay players on the team.

“We ain’t got no gay people on the team,” Culliver told Lange. “They gotta get up out here if they do. Can’t be with that sweet stuff. … Nah, can’t be … in the locker room, man.”

When asked if a gay player should keep his sexual orientation a secret, Culliver stated that gay players should reveal their sexuality after retiring. “Gotta come out 10 years after that,” Culliver said.

The NFL, the NFLPA—as well as the 49ers (who were clearly ready)—sprung into action. Undoubtedly Culliver’s agent was involved. The next day, the 49ers released this statement on their commitment to diversity:

“The San Francisco 49ers reject the comments that were made yesterday, and have addressed the matter with Chris,” the team’s statement said. “There is no place for discrimination within our organization at any level. We have and always will proudly support the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community.”

I don’t know how you could be more distant from Lombardi (or Grant’s superstar end, Carl Eller) than that. Probably half of the “Super Bowl I” winning Packers would have vomited. Meanwhile, Culliver got the message, saying in a statement:

“The derogatory comments I made yesterday were a reflection of thoughts in my head, but they are not how I feel,” Culliver said in a statement released by the team. “It has taken me seeing them in print to realize that they are hurtful and ugly. Those discriminating feelings are truly not in my heart. Further, I apologize to those who I have hurt and offended, and I pledge to learn and grow from this experience.”

Culliver’s personal public relations representative, Theodore Palmer explained:

“Chris is very apologetic for any harm caused to anyone,” Palmer told The Associated Press in a phone interview. “His intent was not that at all. He is one who celebrates the differences of others. All of this was just a big mistake. It was interpreted wrong.”

Did you get that? Apologizes for “any harm caused to anyone;” Chris, “celebrates differences.” God help us. Get bags for the rest of those ’67 Packers.

Back to your Super Bowl party. Is your menu Politically Correct? Is it sensitive and caring? Does it support President Obama’s Patient Protection and Affordable Care act? What? You’re not serving vegetables? My heavens no!—Not tacos!

Taco Bell had a Super Bowl ad that said don’t “cop out” with veggies on game day, get a Taco Variety 12 Pac. The vegetable police were on it. Veggies for the “New” NFL are like Costas and Madonna; Tacos are like Hank Jr. and Rush. Taco Bell pulled the ad Friday. They are hoping their ad featuring disobedient old people is less hurtful and excluding. Take a look at what we can’t see during the Super Bowl in (dare I say?) Obama’s America:

UPDATE April 30, 2015: The Taco Variety 12 Pac commercial has been scrubbed from the internet. Culliver was the goat in the 49ers 31-34 loss to Baltimore. Did he play poorly because of a lack of sensitivity training guilt? Did the League and its game officials target him for punishment as President Obama would expect? Was it a combination of the two? Go ahead, you can speculate.

Enjoy the game and, of course, we all hope no one loses.

CHUCK HAGEL EXPOSED IN A ROUGH DAY BEFORE SENATE ARMED SERVICES COMMITTEE

Former Nebraska Republican Senator Chuck Hagel appeared for his Senate hearing January 31, 2013. Hagel has a long record of saying the wrong thing or taking the wrong vote or stand especially concerning Israel and America’s place as the power for good in the world. There is no record that Senator Hagel is for terrorism. Yet it is clear that he is soft on Islam and admits no threat from it. If you missed the hearing, the videos below are an excellent selection of the hard pointed questioning from the committee and Hagel’s answers which called his capacity, competence and character into question. Just the kind of man Obama wants at Defense. The country needs a bipartisan vote against his confirmation.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz, “A suggestion that Israel has committed war crimes is particularly offensive given that the Jewish people suffered under the most horrific war crimes.”

Arizona Senator John McCain, “You are on the wrong side of history.”

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, “I can’t think of a more provocative thing to say about the United States and Israel and the Senate or the Congress than what you said. Name One dumb thing we’ve been goaded into doing because of the Israeli or Jewish lobby.”

Senator Graham: That Hagel was one of four Senators who refused to sign a letter naming Arafat for undercutting agreement with Israel, “Runs chills up my spine.”

REFLECTIONS ON THE NEWTOWN TRAGEDY—40 YEARS OF DEATHS NOT NOTICED

January 22, 2013: THE FORTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF LIFE DEATH UNDER ROE v WADE

On January 22, 1973, the United States Supreme Court handed down the Roe v Wade decision giving medical doctors the Constitutional right through “the penumbras of the Bill of Rights” to use tools of life as instruments of death for the littlest ones among us.

This past Wednesday, January 16, President Obama, in a masterfully staged setting, laid out his actions to (I believe) destroy the second amendment. This, if successful, will eliminate whatever power the people still have. The President’s powerful rationale for taking down the second amendment after the tragedy at Newtown, Connecticut was simple—the safety of “our” children. Dare I say the littlest ones?

The President smoothly declared in his opening remarks, “… [W]hat we should be thinking about is our responsibility to care for [our kids], and shield them from harm, and give them the tools they need to grow up and do everything that they’re capable of doing —not just to pursue their own dreams, but to help build this country.  This is our first task as a society, keeping our children safe.  This is how we will be judged.  And their voices should compel us to change.”

The President didn’t say our “responsibility” and “first task as a society” is to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it,” for example. He didn’t say our “responsibility” and “first task as a society” is to guard for their future and posterity their unalienable rights including liberty and the pursuit of happiness. He said, “responsibility” and “first task as a society” is “keeping our children safe.”

One can safely assume the President meant the life of each little one. But, in the past 40 years, the lives more than 50 million—50,000,000—of the littlest Americans were legally taken by “professionals” whose oath is, “First do no harm.” The term for this legal killing of our smallest and most defenseless is “abortion.” The Democrat Party signed on, let us say, “lock, stock and barrel.” Within 10 years, the party the President leads had become the PARTY OF DEATH. As an Illinois State Senator, Barack Obama seemed to be vying to be the chief proponent of death for little children—not shielding them from harm.

Americans are using guns as instruments of death; thousands every year; more than 500 a year in President Obama’s home town. Those tragic deaths are already crimes that should and must be vigorously prosecuted and punished at the local and state level. But abortion kills more than 3 million of our littlest ones each year. The abortionist besmirches the name of what should be among the most esteemed professions and turns tools of utility for cleanliness and life into deadly instruments of death.

According to Prochoice.com, “Abortion is performed in many ways that can severely damage ‘the mother’. It is also important for you to know that those who perform abortions receive special protection from liability, if the mother is injured. Essentially there are less legal safeguards to protect her health and even her life.” The description of the abortions methods below was developed from information taken from this Site.

Suction Abortion, also called vacuum aspiration, is the most common [62%] abortion technique in use today. In this procedure a suction tube is inserted through the dilated cervix into the womb. A powerful vacuum tears the placenta from the uterus and dismembers the body of the developing child, sucking the pieces into an attached jar. There is a risk that the uterus can be punctured during the procedure. Also, the abortionist must take care that all the body parts are removed from the womb, as infection and hemorrhage can occur if fetal or placental tissue is left in the uterus.

61%

A Dilation and Curettage abortion is usually performed between seven and twelve weeks of pregnancy [26%]. The doctor inserts a curette, a loop-shaped steel knife, into the womb through the dilated cervix. As the curette scrapes the wall of the uterus, the baby is cut into pieces. Bleeding can be considerable. As with a suction abortion, there is a risk of infection or hemorrhage, so the abortionist must reassemble the body parts to make sure the uterus is empty.

Cut up.scalpel

Dilation and Evacuation method is similar to a D&C, except that forceps must be used to grasp the baby’s body because of the child’s advanced development [6.6%]. The baby is dismembered as the abortionist twists and tears the parts of the body and slices the placenta away from the uterus. Bleeding is profuse. Although relatively safe for the mother, the procedure is devastating to the hospital staff and many doctors refuse to do advanced D&E abortions.

Twists.Tears

Saline Injection: is usually used after sixteen weeks [3.8%]. The doctor inserts a long needle through the mother’s abdomen and injects a saline solution into the sac of amniotic fluid surrounding the baby. The baby is poisoned by swallowing the salt and his skin is completely burned away. After the child dies, the mother goes into labor and expels the dead baby. Saline injections have been outlawed in some countries because of the risks to the mother, which can include lung and kidney damage if the salt finds its way into her bloodstream. In spite of the horrible burning effect, some babies have survived “salting out” and been born alive.

Burn 'em

Hysterotomy: Similar to the Cesarean section, the hysterotomy [1.5%] abortion is a surgical procedure whereby the baby is removed from the mother’s womb and allowed to die by neglect or killed by a direct act. This method offers the highest risk to the mother and produces the most number of live births. Hysterotomy is used only for late term pregnancies, and is sometimes used if the salt poisoning abortion has failed.

Let it die

Mr. President, join a majority of Americans in our responsibility to care for the littlest of our kids, and shield them from death. Then we can give them the tools they need to grow up and do everything that they’re capable of doing, to freely pursue their own dreams. Their freedom—and ours—will naturally “continue to build this country.” And, Mr. President, ending or continuing this evil scourge is how we will be judged. Listen, Mr. President, to the voices of 50 million from heaven. Surely they will compel you and America to change.

Update: Oh, here’s a tip Mr. President, this presentation of the science of life, featuring that little one above, should help you convince those foot-dragging Republicans:

Reflections

For many it is a three day weekend. For many others it is simply another opportunity to advance Socialism by dividing good Americans with false but cleverly charged rhetoric. Instead I urge all Americans to take time today for reflection.

Here are some of mine. Unlike, say, President Obama, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was exemplary in keeping his temper and not assigning motives to others. For those who reflect today on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the word that should come to mind is courage. He exhibited courage throughout his national service of more than a decade. In a way, each day mattered but, in the long view, Dr. King changed history at three intersections.

The first of two in 1963 was his letter to his “fellow [8 white] clergymen” from a Birmingham jail April Sixteenth. You can find the letter here. These few quotes reveal the power and wisdom so right for Dr. King’s time—and ours:

  • [B]asically, I am in Birmingham because injustice is here. Just as the eighth century prophets left their little villages and carried their “thus saith the Lord” far beyond the boundaries of their home towns; and just as the Apostle Paul left his little village of Tarsus and carried the gospel of Jesus Christ to practically every hamlet and city of the Graeco-Roman world, I too am compelled to carry the gospel of freedom beyond my particular home town. Like Paul, I must constantly respond to the Macedonian call for aid.
  • I cannot sit idly by in Atlanta and not be concerned about what happens in Birmingham. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly affects all indirectly. Never again can we afford to live with the narrow, provincial “outside agitator” idea. Anyone who lives inside the United States can never be considered an outsider anywhere in this country.
  • History is the long and tragic story of the fact that privileged groups seldom give up their privileges voluntarily. Individuals may see the moral light and voluntarily give up their unjust posture; but as Reinhold Niebuhr has reminded us, groups are more immoral than individuals. There are just and there are unjust laws. I would agree with Saint Augustine that “An unjust law is no law at all.”

Now, what is the difference between the two? How does one determine when a law is just or unjust? A just law is a man-made code that squares with the moral law or the law of God. An unjust law is a code that is out of harmony with the moral law. To put it in the terms of Saint Thomas Aquinas, an unjust law is a human law that is not rooted in eternal and natural law. Any law that uplifts human personality is just. Any law that degrades human personality is unjust. All segregation statutes are unjust because segregation distorts the soul and damages the personality. It gives the segregator a false sense of superiority, and the segregated a false sense of inferiority. To use the words of Martin Buber, the Jewish philosopher, segregation substitutes an “I-it” relationship for an “I-thou” relationship, and ends up relegating persons to the status of things. So segregation is not only politically, economically and sociologically unsound, but it is morally wrong and sinful. Paul Tillich has said that sin is separation. Isn’t segregation an existential expression of man’s tragic separation, an expression of his awful estrangement, his terrible sinfulness? So I can urge men to disobey segregation ordinances because they are morally wrong.

Let us turn to a more concrete example of just and unjust laws. An unjust law is a code that a majority inflicts on a minority that is not binding on itself. This is difference made legal. On the other hand a just law is a code that a majority compels a minority to follow that it is willing to follow itself. This is sameness made legal.

Did you hear that, President Obama? Dr. King, “An unjust law is a code that a majority inflicts on a minority that is not binding on itself.”

Events moved fast in 1963. A scant four months after the “Birmingham” letter, Dr. King delivered his wonderful “I have a dream” speech from the Lincoln memorial on the National Mall. Here is its 80 second core. Watch. Then pray with me that this core King message is the lesson for millions of citizens across America this MLK Day, 2013:

Dr. King somehow knew that his speech in Memphis April 3, 1968 would be his last. He recounted the very high security measures the airline took because he was on the plane. He made the ending of that speech the summary of his life.

Well, I don’t know what will happen now. We’ve got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn’t matter with me now, because I’ve been to the mountaintop.

And I don’t mind.

Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!

And so I’m happy, tonight.

I’m not worried about anything.

I’m not fearing any man!

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!!

AGENDA: FUNDAMENTALLY TRANSFORM AMERICA IN THE VISION OF KARL MARX—THE LAST 30 MONTHS

On the threshold of being elected president in 2008, Barack Obama declared his agenda. To refresh your mind, let him tell you himself:

I posted, Your World, Country and Life May Be “Fundamentally Transformed” In Months December 28th. It had a chilling account from the DHS high level insider (“Rosebud”) to Doug Hagmann, the indispensable terrorism and crime editor of the Canada Free Press. Rosebud laid out the secret details of a 30 month agenda to reduce America to just another poverty ridden two-bit western hemisphere Socialist dictatorship. Rosebuds credibility was entirely borrowed from Mr. Hagmann who put his own on the line when he published the chilling revelation.

Weeks before Rosebud talked, a patriot and former Idaho legislator, Curtis Bowers, released his documentary Agenda: Grinding America Down – How Liberals Indoctrinated The US. Agenda documents a century of leftist work in America to gradually replace freedom with tyrannical Socialism.  It show this detailed chart that traces the work to replace God with Socialism from Karl Marx right to this current generation of committed hard leftists that gave us Barak Obama.

Marx Chart.2

This Agenda chart gives you the players from Marx through the Twentieth Century until today. It includes a line from the KGB right to the Congressional Progressive Caucus of today.

Marx Chart.3

I learned about Agenda December tenth but it was not available to me through You Tube until yesterday.  This full presentation on You Tube of Agenda: Grinding America Down – How Liberals Indoctrinated The US doesn’t seem to involve Mr. Bowers or his company, Copybook Heading Productions LLC, therefore it might be taken down. If that happens, it should be available here.

You are right. You need to get involved. Get a copy of the DVD right away from Amazon.com. But we all could do more. This agendadocumentary site has multiple ways to spread this word. Please go there and, like me, get DVD’s and charts with volume discounts.

REPOST: LIFE IS COMING AT YOU FAST—BE READY

With many, I have observed we are in “This Present Darkness.” I call it the “Obama Abyss.” There is no doubt we are entering the most dangerous period in the history of our country. But those of us who are Christians know that light comes after the darkness and that it is darkest just before the light. As we prepare for the light to come, be inspired and blessed by this; posted less than 14 months ago.

Posted on November 29, 2011by

“And the LORD God . . . breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7) That’s life!

It is a clear fact; this “Lord God” is the creator of the universe. How can it not be clear that that “breath of life” is sovereign and that “living soul” is therefore sovereign? It is fearfully clear.

That the God of creation is the God of life is clear! It is also clear that this world is led by a god of death!

Fearfully clear!

The God of death always has power hungry “leaders” at his disposal. In our time we must face and defeat those who follow that leader of death; Mohammed. But we cannot turn our eyes from those serving that string of death leaders—from Voltaire to Hagel to Marx. So death was said to be found in our Constitution for the United States of America. Constitutional death showed up as “emanations” and “penumbra.” (No, I cannot find those terms in the Bible either.)

But the days of Constitutional emanations and penumbra are numbered. The God of life came to save us from death.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by Him, and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life, and that life was the Light of men.

You agree that those first four verses of The Gospel according to St. John are true. Upon reflection, you will agree The Gospel of John is the Gospel of life. It is true; this present darkness is as dark as Glen Beck declares. But it is also true, it is darkest before the light. Do not doubt the light is coming. He is the “Light of men.”

When it comes to this present darkness of abortion the dawn is here! Let the truth go forth to defenders of life and purveyors of death alike, the Light of men shines in a video of human life from conception to birth. Magnificent! Wondrous! Profound!

Watch it and spread the word!

FIRST REACTIONS TO PRESIDENT OBAMA’S “SAVE THE CHILDREN” CAMPAIGN

In his remarks yesterday, prior to signing 23 Executive Orders, President Obama declared, “[W]hat we should be thinking about, is our responsibility to care for [the children], and shield them from harm, and give them the tools they need to grow up, and do everything that they’re capable of doing. Not just to pursue their own dreams, but to help build this country. This is our first task as a society, keeping our children safe. This is how we will be judged.”

The President had a perfect array of human props on hand including four young letter writers who had implored the President to “keep us safe.” (None were as old as Amy Carter who was 13 when President Carter sought her foreign policy advice.) Here they are, from left to right, Hinna Zeejah ,8, Taejah Goode, 10, Julia Stokes, 11, and Grant Fritz, 8.

The Children

One need not do research here. There must have been thousands of busy-body government school union activists (formerly known as teachers) who whipped their classrooms into a State of Fear and had them each write to the only one who can save us all, President Obama. It was President Obama’s lucky diversity day. The four letters selected as representative of tens of thousands included two girls and two boys and more than that, two white children (a boy and a girl), a black boy, and an Arab (?) girl! How great is that?

Here is my own first reaction. This is not at all about “saving the children.” This is about extending Federal power into every life. The government now has detailed knowledge of and control over every citizen’s financial and health information. “Saving the children” is the mechanism to establish the power to control. Each of us must be subject to raw Federal power like this (6 year old Elián González seized by Clinton jack booted thugs April 22, 2000):

Power in your Closet

One individual, Adam Lanza, who should have been as easy for the local community to spot as Jared Loughner should have been by Sheriff Clarence Dupnik in Tuscan. Lanza tragically killed 26 including 20 children. This image is the result of Lanza’s final act:

Sandy Hook.26

President Obama’s plan clearly shows he wants to end your right to bear arms and project Federal power into your daily life right into your closet all in the name of saving the children. What if you and other Americans resist? We have some experience with that. The Branch Davidian cult at Waco Texas was a far less perverted religion than, say, Islam. But when they resisted the Clinton BATF push, Janet Reno’s FBI invaded. 54 men and women and 28 children were consumed in flames at the hands of Federal power. This scene may become common in the coming months as a result of the Presidents power grab.

Branch Dividian.82

Many are prepared to stand up to this power grab including:

Linn County Oregon Sheriff Tim Mueller  who cut right to the chase in an open letter to Vice President Biden on January 14:  “Any federal regulation enacted by Congress or executive order … offending the constitutional rights of my citizens will not be enforced by me or my deputies.”

Jackson County Kentucky Sheriff Denny Peyman  made it clear that gun laws which violate the United States Constitution or the Kentucky Constitution will not be enforced in his county.

The Wyoming legislature is enacting a law to nullify any new federal infringements on the constitutionally protected gun rights of state residents who enjoy some of the lowest crime rates while being among the most heavily armed people in America. Unconstitutional federal gun registration schemes, as well as restrictions on semi-automatic guns or standard-capacity magazines, would be nullified under the legislation.

There are teeth in the proposed law too: Any federal official attempting to enforce unconstitutional statutes or decrees infringing on gun rights passed after January 1 of this year would be charged with a felony.

Texas has legislation moving to match the Wyoming act and will stand “shoulder to shoulder” with Wyoming.

Gary Marbut, president of the Montana Shooting Sports Association, published an article stating, “Montana residents will not obey any new gun restrictions.

In Las Vegas, 60,000 are expected to attend a gun show now under way.

There was an Expo Idaho gun show in Boise last Saturday, January 12. The

Organizer, Paul Snider, said sales were through the roof. “These guns and ammo are going out the door in arm loads. Some people can hardly walk they’ve got so much stuff,”

In South Dakota, Michael Mooney, owner of Southern Hills Tactical in Custer, says the demand for firearms is unprecedented saying he sold 85 assault weapons ranging from $650 dollars to $3,000 dollars in just three days.  “Never seen sales like this at all. In the month of December there was nearly 2.8 million sales transfers done though NICS, which is roughly a million more than the previous December,” Mooney told KOTA-TV News.

In Kentucky, TV-14 is reporting gun sales so brisk across the State that store shelves are often left bare.

And according to WTVR-TV, Richmond, lines stretched for hundreds of yards throughout the parking lot comprised of gun enthusiasts wanting to browse the latest technology or stock up on ammunition the first day of the C&E Gun Show in Central Virginia.

Our old buddy, Glen Beck declares, “Make no mistake … a fight is coming.”

This insight from former Arizona sheriff Richard Mack is worthy of study and reflection. Please find the 7 minutes now:

Finally, an Alex Jones led group is filing articles of impeachment against President Obama.

Update: (22:35 GMT) I just got this important statement from Texas Governor Rick Perry:

“The Vice President’s committee was appointed in response to the tragedy at Newtown, but very few of his recommendations have anything to do with what happened there.

“Guns require a finger to pull the trigger. The sad young man who did that in Newtown was clearly haunted by demons and no gun law could have saved the children in Sandy Hook Elementary from his terror.

“There is evil prowling in the world – it shows up in our movies, video games and online fascinations, and finds its way into vulnerable hearts and minds. As a free people, let us choose what kind of people we will be. Laws, the only redoubt of secularism, will not suffice. Let us all return to our places of worship and pray for help. Above all, let us pray for our children.

“In fact, the piling on by the political left, and their cohorts in the media, to use the massacre of little children to advance a pre-existing political agenda that would not have saved those children, disgusts me, personally. The second amendment to the Constitution is a basic right of free people and cannot be nor will it be abridged by the executive power of this or any other president.”

The first thing you’ll see is Real Gun News Not Found in the main Stream Media.

News such as:

JUDGE NAPOLITANO REACTS TO NY TIMES CRITICISM: “EITHER WE HAVE A 2ND AMENDMENT OR WE DON’T”

Take a look at the sponsoring organizations—all 94 of them. I didn’t see support from members of Congress. In fairness perhaps, like me, they signed this petition:

Whereas, the Bill of Rights added further declaratory and restrictive clauses to the U.S. Constitution in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers; and

Whereas, those further declaratory and restrictive clauses relate directly to the fundamental rights of individuals, including the sweeping declaratory Ninth and Tenth Amendments, which guarantee that powers not delegated by the people to the United States in the Constitution and those powers not granted to the separate states were reserved to the people; and

Whereas, history demonstrates convincingly that the first act of tyrannical governments in expanding their powers beyond those granted to them is to disarm or short arm individuals so as to render them defenseless against the state’s heavily armed police and soldiery; and

Whereas, the authors of the first ten amendments included the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights because they understood this lesson of history and consequently believed as a matter of fact that a well-armed citizenry is both a necessary condition of liberty and the only effective deterrent against tyranny; and

Whereas, there is a plethora of evidence confirming these facts in the writings and statements of the Founders—including the author of the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson, and the Father of the Constitution, James Madison, as well as in numerous other documents and writings contemporary of the Founding of the United States; and

Whereas, these writings and statements also demonstrate conclusively that the authors of the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights believed as a matter of philosophy that every human being possesses an inalienable, fundamental, natural right, which pre-dates the Second Amendment, to own and bear arms and, if necessary, to use those arms in self defense, including self defense against tyrannical government agents, police forces and armies that would over step their proper bounds; and

Whereas, George Mason, the Father of the Bill of Rights, summed it up best when he said, “To disarm the people is the best and most effectual way to enslave them;” and

Whereas, the Second Amendment was designed specifically to prevent the people’s enslavement by guaranteeing that individuals not only would retain the right and means to defend themselves against private outlaws who would do them harm but also to provide individuals an effective deterrent against and a means to defend themselves against tyrannical and oppressive governments and their agents acting improperly under the color of law; and

Whereas, the Second Amendment was and remains an unambiguous and unrestricted, sweeping guarantee of individuals’ right to own and bear arms and use them in their own self defense; now

Therefore, We the Undersigned petition the United States Government to cease and desist all efforts to disarm or short-arm the American people by limiting and disparaging the Second Amendment or rendering it a dead letter through federal legislation, interpretation and regulation.

A CALL TO ACTION: WHICH SIDE OF HISTORY WILL YOU BE ON?

A light to give you continual clarity in this present darkness

My post yesterday featured an essential Doug Hagmann article about the war on American patriots that is upon us. He concluded by asking, “Which side of history will you be on?” His meaning is clear in the context of his article.

But Americans know less about “sides of history” than about the meaning of their vote. Not much. As we move to action we must have clarity. We have been raised to trust our government. We know our “pledge of Allegiance” and our patriotic songs i.e. “O beautiful for heroes proved in liberating strife; who more than self their country loved and mercy more than life!”  The key question each American must ask is, “If our government is against us, who is for us?” Keep in mind the clear lesson proclaimed by radical Earth First founder Dave Foreman:

This is war. There are no sidelines and there are no spectators.

Are you not a radical environmentalist? If you do not agree with using the environment as “the organizing principle” and are passive, Foreman knew and knows you are no idle spectator. Your passiveness helps his Marxist cause.

As we learned yesterday, it’s the same here. Gun confiscation from peace loving, law abiding citizens is not about the guns. It is about your mind and your ideas and it is about your children’s minds. If you do not stand against this tyrannical unconstitutional governance, you are aiding the replacement of freedom with Marxism.

Seeing this clearly; then acting each day is essential. The real divider in this world is found in Matthew 12:30:

He that is not with Me is against Me, and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.

Here it is in context beginning at Matthew 12:22:

Then was brought unto Him one possessed with a devil, blind and dumb; and He healed him, so that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw. 23 And all the people were amazed and said, “Is not this the Son of David?” 24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, “This fellow doth not cast out devils, except by Beelzebub, the prince of devils.” 25 And Jesus knew their thoughts and said unto them,

“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand. 26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom stand? 27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the Kingdom of God is come unto you. 29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man’s house and despoil his goods, unless he first bind the strong man? And then he will despoil his house.

30 “He that is not with Me is against Me, and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.”

Fellow patriots, your Liberty; your very life was purchased for eternity at the Cross. Those unalienable rights enumerated (and un-enumerated) in the Declaration of Independence are from God. It is impossible for a tyrant to give you an unalienable right. Tyrants are of “this world.” It is their business to tax, control, diminish and destroy. We saw it on display at the Presidential Press Conference yesterday.

Government has nothing to give. Government has no rights and government has no money. If you got anything from government, it was taken from someone else. Some (like me) justify receiving from government because government takes and has taken (taxes) from us. Still, we must be clear about the source. And we must be clear about one more thing. Even as taxed producers, when we become dependent upon government for our medical care (as a personal example) we have surrendered our freedom.

But some say, “what about the Federal civil rights laws of the 1960’s that brought civil equality to every black American who pursued it?” The civil rights acts did not give Federal rights to people. Again the Federal Government had none. The civil rights laws ended the laws of various States that had diminished the rights of classes of people.

So here we are January 2013 a kingdom divided against itself. We are not divided neatly by States as in 1860 but by worldview. Make no mistake. The power in the Congress and in the Executive and in the Judiciary of this government is serving “Beelzebub.” If this day you are committed to serving Christ, this government will be your opposition. And make no mistake, there are no sidelines and there are no spectators. It is time to act. Learn today how to successfully oppose those who would end this glorious experience of a sovereign people under a Sovereign God. My suggestion: maintain continual clarity in this present darkness by committing Matthew 12: 30 to memory today.
