First pitch—Out of the Park

He couldn’t avoid it. John King, CNN debate moderator last night, was compelled to forcefully ask Speaker Gingrich about the ABC so-called expose′ which was featured on last night’s Nightline. That opening was all Speaker Gingrich needed to seize the high road and he never relinquished it. Another debate won in the most difficult of circumstances.

I must admit, I did not see that this dark episode from Mr. Gingrich’s past could be a positive. Governor Sarah Palin did. She told Sean Hannity yesterday:

“They, thinking that by trotting out this old Gingrich divorce interview that’s old news — and it does feature a disgruntled ex, claiming that it would destroy his campaign — all this does, Sean [Hannity], is incentivize conservatives and independents who are so sick of the politics of personal destruction, because it’s played so selectively by the media, that their target, in this case Newt, he’s now going to soar even more. Because we know the game now, and we just won’t put up with it. Good call, media.”

This was just the end of a very tough but productive day for the Gingrich campaign. Earlier in the day, as he ended his own campaign for the Presidency, Governor Rick Perry powerfully endorsed Speaker Gingrich:

“I believe Newt is a Conservative visionary who can transform our country. We’ve had our differences which campaigns will inevitably have, and Newt is not perfect, but who among us is? The fact is, there is forgiveness for those who seek God. And I believe in the power of redemption for it is a central tenet of my Christian faith. I have no question that Newt Gingrich has the heart of a Conservative reformer, the ability to rally and captivate the Conservative movement. The courage to tell those Washington interests to take a hike if that is in the best interest of our country.”—watch it:

A MAN FOR OUR TIME EMERGED IN A TELEVISED DEBATE JANUARY 16TH AT MYRTLE BEACH, SC: NEWT GINGRICH

Time after time during the 100 minute debate, televised on Fox News Channel, Speaker Gingrich, at nearly every occasion, powerfully but clearly laid out the path back for a free, prosperous America.

A perfect example of the Speaker’s mastery of our situation and the solutions to bring us back, was when America’s best liberal, Juan Williams, questioned Gingrich sharply about his view that we should promote ways for “urban” youth to have a work and job experience. Williams brought up race both concerning janitor work for ghetto youth and the term, “food stamp President.”

Speaker Gingrich finished his powerful and magnificent answer thus, “I believe every American, regardless of their background, has the right to pursue happiness. And, if it makes the liberals unhappy, I’m gonna’ find a way to help poor people learn how to get a job, learn how to get a better job and learn how to own their job.”

THOSE WHO SAY, “JIHADISM IS . . . NOT ISLAM,” ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO BE THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT

“I didn’t refer to Islam at all, or to any other religion for that matter. I spoke about three major threats America faces on a long term basis. Jihadism is one of them, and that is not Islam. If you want my views on Islam, it’s quite straightforward. Islam is one of the world’s great religions and the great majority of people in Islam want peace for themselves and peace with their maker.” —Mitt Romney

That dangerous and irresponsible view would be in agreement with the disaster we now have in the oval office, Barak Obama. But it would be new and wrong to America’s first three Presidents. Jefferson owned a Quran which he called, “The book of Jihad.” As you surely know, Jefferson and Madison fought the first wars of our new nation against the Islamic Jihadists of the Barbary States (. . . to the shores of Tripoli, you know), the Barbary Wars.  

No, Mr. Romney, the seat of darkness on the planet earth that is Islam would not be a great religion. Before you say Islam is not darkness, send your granddaughter to Afghanistan, for example, to live for a year in a Muslim family. How could a “vast majority” even know what it is to want peace when the vast majority of Muslim women and girls live in total and brutal slavery? How could the vast majority of Muslim men and boys know what it is to want peace, Governor Romney, when, on a daily basis, they harshly met out the brutal Islamic slavery to their wives, daughters and mothers?  

Jihad, according to you Governor Romney, is somehow separate from Islam. I infer you contend jihad is peculiar to our time. Here is the Record:

UPDATE: WHO CALLED OBAMA A CHICKEN-HAWK—OH OH DID RON PAUL “OUT” HIMSELF?

“Out himself,” you say, “please explain.” Very well, the full explanation directly follows this re-post of my first “Chicken-Hawk” done eight months ago, as Obama was taking personal credit for killing bin Laden, I searched for the liberal outrage and posted these findings including a bit of background:

Like Racist, Hater and Extremist, Chicken-hawk Is a Smear Used by Leftists With No Ideas and No Winning Arguments.

For those on the traditional right, a little background; the term chicken-hawk was not created as a political smear. Like the term “tea-bagger,” it was appropriated from the “urban” culture.

Urban Dictionary:

Chicken-hawk: A Gay term for an older man that constantly chases after younger men typically in their 20′s.

The left used the term “chicken-hawk” to smear the members of Bush team as America responded vigorously against attacks from our Islamist enemies. President Bush and members of his team who had not actually served in combat themselves qualified for the smear. President Bush, Vice President Cheney and many members of the Bush team were called “chicken-hawks” by hundreds of leftists.

The more well known leftists that called President Bush a chicken-hawk include Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, Michael Moore, Al Franken, Paul Hackett, Jesse Ventura, Jim Webb and Ed Schultz.

Since Sunday, who called President Obama, who never served at all; who had no contact with members of our military, a chicken-hawk?

Well what do you know? None of them has raised and used the term “chicken-hawk” for President Obama; not when he sent tens of thousands of our armed forces to Afghanistan; not when he drug us stupidly into Libya; not when SEAL Team 6 made us proud Sunday. Not one time! You can google, “Obama is a chicken-hawk.” You’ll get zero, nada, nothing.

Principles? They have none. Character? I wouldn’t get into a foxhole with any of them. Not the ones “honored’ here with their pictures. None of the rest, not a single one!

Now, January, 2012, comes Ron Paul who, like Jesse Ventura, is a self styled Libertarian who turns out to be to the left of Obama.

But who knew he was so hip? Married for many years; a son in the United States Senate; delivered thousands of babies; but he seems totally at ease in the Urban Dictionary. What did he say to make us wonder? Here is the story from the Washington Times:

Rep. Ron Paul of Texas called one of his Republican presidential-primary rivals a “chickenhawk” Wednesday and taunted his lack of military service.

After host Soledad O’Brien noted that Mr. Gingrich said he would not support Mr. Paul in November should he be the Republican nominee, Mr. Paul laughed and said he opposes “unconstitutional” wars and putting young people in danger, and then called Mr. Gingrich a personal coward.

“You know when Newt Gingrich was called to service in the 1960s during the Vietnam era, guess what he thought about danger? He chickened out on that and he got a deferment. He didn’t even go. So right now he’s sending these young kids over there to endure the danger,” he said.

“Some people call that a chickenhawk and I think he falls into that category,” Mr. Paul continued.

This is not the first time Mr. Paul has used Mr. Gingrich’s 1960s life to criticize his foreign policy. On Dec. 15, he also called out the former speaker, though he didn’t use personal epithets such as “chicken.”

“He supports all the wars in the Middle East a thousand times more than I would. But you know in the 1960s when I was drafted in the military, he got several deferments. He chose not to go. Now he’ll send our kids to war,” Mr. Paul said in a Fox News interview then.

Mr. Paul, after graduating from medical school, served as a surgeon for the Air Force and Air National Guard in the 1960s.

Mr. Gingrich received several student deferments in the 1960s — earning a bachelor’s degree from Emory University in 1965 and a master’s from Tulane in 1968. He also was reportedly judged unsuited for the military for other reasons — flat feet, near-sightedness and being married with children.

This is important for two reasons. One is Conservatives do not use smear terms such as Racist, Hater, Extremist and Chicken-hawk. The other is Google cannot find one time where Dr. Paul, who has been very critical of Obama for the American military successes for which Obama grandly has took credit, called Obama a Chicken-hawk. Not one time. Dr. Paul turns out to be a leftist worthy of the company pictured above.

PREDICTION 2012: OCCUPY AND DESTROY! BARAK OBAMA’S “OCCUPY” BECOMES A VIOLENT RAMPAGING DOMINATING THUG OPERATION

2012 will be the year war is recognized and defined between the “makers” and the “takers.”

Obama’s Marxist revolutionary thug “Occupy” appears to be the seam at which we Americans will make the 2012 decision for our course and direction—not jobs or the size of government.

While the media, Republicans and conservatives focused on Iowa Monday (the observed New Years Day) and while Obama was still vacationing, we nearly missed the violent, in your face “Occupy” throngs surging from coast to coast. More than 5,000 of these vile and violent takers have moved to take the term “We the People” as they crashed the Tournament of Roses Parade in California Monday.

They are the opposite of “We the People.” “We the People” recognize our sovereignty is a gift from the sovereign God, creator of the Universe. If they did recognize a god, it would not be the creator. It would be the Prince of Darkness. When they quote a scholar, it is always some form of Marxist taker. If they make a Biblical reference, they make a Marxist out of Jesus.

Don’t doubt me on this. At least one school is teaching “Occupy” to elementary children. The story is at the Blaze:

The ever-vigilant crew at WeaselZippers has uncovered a jaw-dropping incident at Woodbrook Elementary School in Virginia in which third-grade students performed (and school officials claim wrote) a song titled, “Part of the 99” as part of a “Kid Pan Alley” performance in October.

But despite the backlash, Albermale County school district is standing behind the song, claiming the children chose and wrote the lyrics themselves.

The lyrics, which mirror the very same sentiments and slogans espoused by the Occupy movement, have critics up in arms. The highly politicized song, which many believe is intended to indoctrinate children, follows below:

Some people have it all

“OCCUPY CHRISTMAS” ONE LAST POST FOR 2011

I just finished closing files on 2011 and put up the new 2012 calendars. But I almost missed the little leftwing “Occupy Christmas” fraud. Perhaps you did as well. This first post of 2012 will clean up that thread from 2011.

“Occupy Christmas?” Thousands of leftists were trying to “fundamentally transform” America by “fundamentally transforming” Christ—again.  An example is some lost little soul named Richard Eskow who wrote, “It doesn’t matter whether or not you believe in God or which faith you follow if you do. Here’s a question worth asking this holiday season: Would Jesus be an Occupy demonstrator?”

Really? It doesn’t matter if you believe in God? I humbly submit belief in God is what does matter! It doesn’t matter which faith you follow? If you understand that Allah is not God, there are only two faiths that do believe in God. Eskow’s answer is, yes, of course He would be an Occupier. That He threw the money changers out of the Temple is Mr. Eskow’s evidence. It is interesting that, even though he paints Jesus as a follower of Marx, he capitalizes “He” each time the pronoun applies to Jesus. Perhaps it matters in the recesses of Mr. Eskow’s DNA.

The point of the “Occupy Christmas” campaign was no different than Black Liberation Theology or Social Justice Theology. Make no mistake, in the end it always comes down to using Jesus as a tool to take someone else’s money or, far more importantly, their Liberty. “Occupy Christmas” was just another sorry example of the whole thug Occupy crowd in 2011. Expect more of it this year. We must not let this attempt to smother Liberty succeed.

THE OBAMISLAMIZATION OF AMERICA ACCELERATES

There is apparently no longer an American Army that prides itself on fighting and winning for freedom and American national interests. No, no, under Obama and Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Larry Stubblefield cleared that up. “The Army prides itself in being a diverse organization, comprised of individuals from many faiths and religions,” Stubblefield said. Diversity is the new purpose of the United States Army.

Orlando Sentinal: Defense department agrees to allow Muslim cadets to wear hijabs

The [Muslim Brotherhood linked unindicted co-conspirator]   Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) announced today that the Department of Defense will begin allowing Muslim and Sikh students who wear an Islamic head scarf (hijab) or a turban to participate in the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC).

“We welcome the fact that Muslim and Sikh students nationwide will now be able to participate fully in JROTC leadership activities while maintaining their religious beliefs and practices,” said CAIR National Executive Director Nihad Awad.

In October, the Washington-based Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization wrote to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta after a 14-year-old Muslim student at Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn., was forced to transfer out of a JROTC class when her commanding officers told her she could not wear hijab while marching in the September homecoming parade.

CAIR requested constitutionally-protected religious accommodations for the girl and for future Muslim JROTC participants.

In a Dec. 19 letter sent to CAIR, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army Larry Stubblefield wrote:

”I have been asked to respond on behalf of the Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta to your October 13, 2011 letter concerning Miss Demin Zawity’s request to wear a religious head covering (hijab) while participating in an Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) event at Ravenwood High School.

“Based on your concerns, the Army has reviewed its JROTC uniform policy and will develop appropriate procedures to provide Cadets the opportunity to request the wear of religious head dress, such as the turban and hijab. This change will allow Miss Zawity and other students the chance to fully participate in the JROTC program. Additionally, a representative from the U.S. Army Cadet Command will contact Miss Zawity and provide her the opportunity to rejoin the Ravenwood High School JROTC unit.

“The Army prides itself in being a diverse organization, comprised of individuals from many faiths and religions. We appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention.”

December 26, 2011. Christmas is now over around the world. Here in the United States of America, although virtually all family celebrations are past, today is the official holiday. It seems a perfect time to note how, once again, Islamic hate and violence is unleashed against Christians. Men and women, brothers and sisters, you must know the truth today.

Christians across India’s Orissa state were terrorized this Christmas season by hate groups opposed to the Gospel. Anti-Christian extremists attacked Gospel for Asia native missionary Matish Junni on December 23. They also destroyed a newly-built GFA-related church building on Christmas Eve.

“This violence against believers in Orissa breaks my heart,” said K.P. Yohannan, founder and president of Gospel for Asia. “This is the same state where missionary Graham Staines and his two sons were martyred. The believers know they will face opposition, but this outburst of persecution at Christmas time is especially disturbing.”

Notice the attackers were, “hate groups” and “anti-Christian extremists,” not Islamists. Pitiful! The terms hating and extremists are not inaccurate, the murderous killers and destroyers were and are Islamic jihadists. The politically correct so-called Christian outfit cannot bring themselves to write the evil truth clearly.

But the truth needs to be told and read—now! Fortunately we have a dedicated and courageous warrior for truth and Liberty, my New York Jewish friend, Pamela Geller. This woman is a national treasure. She defends American freedom and promise fiercely. She defends Israel and the anti-Semitic filth and violence here, in Israel and around the world. Finally, she defends Christians and Christianity against Islamic filth and murder wherever it is found just as fiercely. I love her.

Pamela has been busy these past two days making this violence and evil known and standing with courage against it.

I love you, Pamela Geller. I stand with you “in the gap” and “on the wall.” Moreover, the Savior of the World loves you and keeps you. He calls those people, who you defend, His body. He will not forsake you and neither will I. We are thousands of miles apart but, make no mistake, if I have a way to defend you from attack, I will. I am convinced, dear friend, that He has others at hand; committed as I, in close proximity, prepared to stand between you and the evil that would silence you.

Christian brothers and sisters, take up the cross against this evil. Make your commitment today. Put on the full armor of God and take your place “on the wall” with Pamela and me.

“READ MY LIPS, NO NEW TAXES” BUSH LIKES ROMNEY, NOT NEWT

The former President explained his problem with Speaker Gingrich, “I had a conflict with him at one point,” Bush told the Houston Chronicle. “I’m not his biggest advocate.” Bush made clear he is only “backing” Romney, not “endorsing him.”

It seems the former President’s trouble with Mr. Gingrich is the Speaker took him seriously in 1988-1990 when he told the Republican convention and the nation, “Read my lips, no new taxes.” Then, two years later “Read My Lips, No New Taxes” Bush had the Republican and Democrat leaders in the oval office to agree on his new tax increase. He had “not quite leader” Gingrich, “Right outside the Oval Office.” Presumably there were other “not quite leader” Democrats and Republicans out there as well.

But when President Bush and the joint congressional leadership were ready to take their “props” out to the Rose Garden to announce the new tax, Gingrich was gone. He had gone back to the Capitol to begin to lobby against the new tax. Now we understand the conflict. Now we understand. You, Mr. Bush 41, certainly couldn’t expect to be “his [Gingrich] biggest fan.” Yes, someone who took you at your “Read my lips, no new taxes” word and then didn’t go along when you recanted would be a—what’s the word? Oh, right, “bomb thrower.”

We can assume Governor Romney is not a “bomb thrower” and could be counted on to go along with a broken promise. Is it possible Governor Romney is so reliable he would actually break his own promises? We don’t know. Remember Romney only has “41’s” “backing”—not his “endorsement.”
